Yesterday was our AP renewal day at DLR. During our first round at the ticket kiosk we were told that they only give the $20 DVC discount to new AP purchases. I was irritated by this and once we were back in the park having a snack, we checked the DVC website. It still states that the discount is for new purchases AND renewals.
We headed back out for round two. The lead CM ended up giving us $60 in food vouchers due to the discrepancy, but said the option for renewals actually has been removed from their system entirely. Just a quick FYI for anyone who might be renewing anytime soon. Definitely check the website before arriving!
