Disneyland Divas working out, getting healthy, and looking fine in '09!!

OMG! I was totally craving Mexican food too. After I got home from work, I went right back out and got some! The whole time I was thinking how it was going to mess everything up for me, but I just did not care. I'm with you though, tomorrow is a new day...now if I could just stop saying that everyday! :lmao:
LOL Maybe it's something in the water.....:rolleyes1

At least you only ate one enchilada. ;) With just a little exercise tomorrow you can work that right off and still lose this week! I think this is a great opportunity to start that exercise program! :cheer2:

Last week, all week, I was craving ice cream. I thought the craving would go away. It didn't. By Thursday, I told my husband I would go ahead and skip dinner, just so long as I got some ice cream. We went out to dinner at an ice cream place and I had a salad and ice cream (fat free though!). Sometimes you've got to indulge I think. It's just a matter of doing it sensibly and getting right back on the program. Maybe even exercising a bit more or eating a bit less the next day. I wouldn't be surprised if you still lost weight this week. Don't throw in the towel yet! Drink that water and get moving!
One enchilada and lots of chips! LOL But no way am I throwing in the towel. That will never happen. I'm going to keep trying every day even when I give in to cravings like I did tonight.

I agree, sometimes you just have to indulge. I knew nothing else was going to satisfy me until I'd had what I was craving. Now I did and I am ready to get back on track.

I think I am going to attempt some exercising tomorrow. I am going to do some walking. Not outside, it's still too hot for that. But I'm going to walk inside. I did it once before. I made circle 8's through my kitchen and living room. Boring, but still effective. :rotfl:

:rotfl:

I heard that! And there is sooo no way you are going to blame this on the water! It is one of the things that might be able to help you still get a decent loss this week, so drink up my friend!

I had 2 healthy choice bars today, but am still on plan. Very tired though.

:rotfl2: My coworker and I were discussing today how the water in the office has been tasting weird lately. I second the water being at fault!

Good morning all. Just a quick check in as I have to be off to work. I am going to try and go to the gym at my work today after I get off and before picking up the kids. Will only have time for about 1/2 hour of excersize but just getting my body moving in that way will be a good step.

Drink the water and make good food choices. Remember, we can do this one little choice at a time. We are more important than that Mexican Food or ice cream we crave. Don't throw away all you have been working so hard for because of a craving. Brush those teeth, rinse the mouth with mouth wash and redirect your energy...go for a walk, clean out a closet, try on those skinny jeans...whatever you need to do to get through it.

Have a great day on that band wagon!

Sarah

Good morning!!!!

I am so ready to get back on track today!! I am even going to do some working out. And drink tons of water.

I can't wait for Friday either to see what the results are!!!! :yay:

Have a great day everyone!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Happy Wednesday!!

With all this talk of food, I'll offer this...

QUOTE OF THE DAY
One must eat to live and not live to eat.
-Moliere

Did my run and weights yesterday. I was going to skip the run to give my legs a break, but I actually wanted to run...go figure... :confused3 Seems to be helping me deal with any stress and offer a little break from the day.

I'm planning on trying a little pilates today for core training.

Must drink water....must drink water...tea and coffee don't count...must drink water.

Have a great day!
-Jen

I made the mistake of reading everyone's messages . . . now I can't get enchiladas off my mind! :rotfl2:

ok--so I gave in and went to a local Mexican place at lunch with a drive-through to get the enchilada. Got back to the office . . .. and they gave me a burrito instead!!!!!!!

Is that poetic justice or what?

:lmao:

Hello all. I worked out today! After I got off work I went to the gym at my office and did 25 minutes on the treadmill. Didn't push myself too hard as it was my first day back after the baby, but will go again on Friday. I have another double at work on sunday, so I am trying to get in my workouts while I can. I can't count on the weekends to be able to do it!

You all need to stop thinking about mexican food...but if anyone really needs it I have a great ww recipe for baked chimichangas that are fantastic!

Sarah

Here comes another day ladies. It is fresh with no mistakes in it. No the objective is to keep it that way! Tomorrow is WI for a lot of us so lets all stay on track...and one great way to do that is to drink lots of water so lets see it, everyone have the glass in hand? Now drink! Great job ladies! Can't wait to see what the scale says tomorrow...I am thinking 2-3 lbs gone...here's hoping!

Sarah

Morning. It's quote girl with another...

QUOTE OF THE DAY
Life expectancy would grow by leaps and bounds if green vegetables smelled as good as bacon.
-Doug Larson

I'm eating my oatmeal with blueberries and flax seed for breakfast and sugar free maple syrup. Actually it tastes quite yummy.

Have a great day!

I would like that recipe for the baked chimis. I love my Mexican food, and if I could find a healthier way to eat it on the rare occasions I allow myself to indulge, that would be great. ;)

OK!! Tomorrow is weigh in day!!! I've got my water here next to me, I've already walked for half an hour, and I am ready!! :cheer2: We can do this!!!

:lmao: I love that quote. So true. LOL
Your breakfast sounds really good! :thumbsup2

Have any of you seen The Haunted Mansion movie with Eddie Murphy? Well, the kids and I watched it the other day and there was one scene where Madame Leota says something that really stuck with me. Here's the quote:
"You try. You fail. You try. You fail. But the only true failure is when you stop trying."

I decided to apply that to my weight loss journey. I've tried so many times before and would "mess up" so I'd just give up. I'm not doing that anymore. No matter what happens I'm sticking with it, and I will reach my goal no matter how long this takes. Because the only way I won't, is if I stop trying and that's not going to happen. :)

Good morning ladies. I got forced out at work last night which means I went to work thinking I was working 8 hours and I ended up having to work 16. Anyway, I wanted to get on and let you all know that I lost 2 lbs this week. I think it would have been more but the last 2 days I have not eaten enough food due to my work schedule. I will remedy that this weekend as I have family coming up and I know we will eat out at least once. I will try not to go overboard, but no matter how you slice it, it is going to be a higher calorie meal than something I would make at home...at least with the types of things I order!

Beth, I will try to get that recipe to you tonight if I don't get forced out again!

Everyone - I hope the scales were kind to you! Either way, keep plugging away. Eventually you will see results and it is better than the alternative of gaining weight!

Sarah

Good morning ladies!! Where is everyone????? It's weigh in day!!! :yay:

Sarah, congrats on those 2 lbs!! Wonderful job. :cheer2:
I don't know how you do a 16 hour day especially when you thought it was going to be an 8 hour day! Who's watching the baby? I can't remember if you said what this job is.... Seems like a lot of overtime though!!

Well, I didn't do that good this week. I went from 233.4 down to 232.8 so that's a loss of -0.6 lbs. Oh well. Better then gaining I guess!! :)
And now I can officially put the 30 lb banner in my sig!! :cheer2:
