Disneyland Divas working out, getting healthy, and looking fine in '09!!

Hi, all!

I am still working on overcoming my late afternoon/evening eating habits. I hope that soon I will get over it. My DH went and bought my favorite ice cream, pistachio nut.:headache: I love the guy...but geez! 1/2 cup is a serving and that is too hard for me to just have that amount. So I just stay away....I am tempted though.

Today someone at work took my WW Smart Ones...so I have to eat school lunch. At least it is pizza made with whole wheat dough and low-fat cheese or else I would be using pretty much all my points.

Stay away from the pistachio ice cream! :scared1:

You might consider stalking up on point friendly late night options (if you haven't already). Some ideas:
-Skinny cow ice cream cone or ice cream sandwich that you can enjoy (1 novelty) so you don't feel bad about missing the pistachio nut ice cream
-Sugar free jello cups with some light whip cream or light cool whip on top
-Fat free/sugar free pudding cups with some light cool whip/whipped cream
-As much fat free (of 94% fat free...whatever it is...) popcorn as you can eat
-Water, herbal tea

I think it's important to plan some kind of treat that you can look forward to and feel good about eating. Set yourself up for success in the evenings!

OK, I'm ready to take this weight loss thing seriously again! My schedule is back on track and I figure everything that could happen has already happened, so nothing should knock me off track again.

I'm home (or actually in school) and I'm ready to get back on track.
I didn't eat horribly at Disneyland/DCA. Funny thing is that I ate mostly carrots and apple slices last night at MTOTP.

So I was able to lose the 4 lbs I had gained last week:banana: . I am pretty happy about that! Now on to getting the rest of this weight off. I didn't work out yesterday...a guy at work got in a motorcycle wreck yesterday on the way to work and died. It was a hard day. Anyway, so both my workout partner and I didn't feel like working out yesterday though we did work out M - W. It wasn't the same intensity that I am used to but I will try to get in a workout today. Good luck everyone.

Stepped on the scale today and I was down a pound! Then stepped on the scale again and I was up a pound. Stepped on it a third time and my weight was the same. I'm not liking my scale. Not to get too graphic, but it's in the bathroom and I think it may have gotten hit by my DSs toilet misses one too many times. :sad2:

I am down too! I managed to lose all the weight I gained from the trip! So I went from 226, or there abouts, on Sunday night to 218 today!! I am sure most of it was water gain which is how I lost it, but still. I am thrilled to be back in the teens and not only that, I am officially at a 45 lb loss now!! :banana:

Now I hope the b-day cake tonight doesn't blow it for me. :eek: :rotfl:

I tracked the entire time and was able to hit the fitness center at the hotel each night. I was only able to do 30 minutes on the machines, but at least it was something. Since I worked on Sunday I have today off and I'm planning to take a 4 mile walk on the trails (taking the DH, DS and his DGF along as well - as soon as they all wake up).

Where is everyone this lovely Saturday?

Did a 4 mile run this morning. It went ok, but my instep hurt a little bit. I think it's time to get some new running shoes.

I'm feeling SO tired this weekend. Don't think I can muster of the energy to do much of anything.
