Hello!!
I can not find the absolute answer (and just got 2 different messages via Disney chat from CM) therefore I am coming to the experts. I understand I can book my dining reservations for DL 60 days prior to my reservation - can I book for my entire stay or do I have to book dining 60 days out from EACH dining date? Also does the system open the same time as WDW (7am Pacific)?

I.e. Arrive at PP hotel May 18, 60 days prior (March 19) can I only make reservations for May 18th or for each day of my 1 week stay?

60 days out from the date you want your reservation, not 60 days out from the first day of your trip for the whole time.

But fear not, it is not as demanding as WDW to be calling in the second the phones open on your 60 day mark.

It's a rolling 60 days, so you'd have to book each day separately if you make your dining reservations at the 60 day mark, which isn't really necessary except for if you want a viewing package at a very specific time. It's not always exactl 60 days. So the 18th on the 18th, the 19th on the 19th, etc. Dining isn't connected to your room at all, so all guests have an equal opportunity to book.

Ah OK, I was hoping to book for the entire stay in 1 shot but if it is not as demanding I am OK with it!! Thanks so much for the tip!

If you are staying at the Paradise Pier, then you can utilize Guest Services to your advantage. Contact Guest Services either just before or on the 60 day mark, tell them exactly where you would like to eat each day during the duration of your stay. Guest Services will make those reservations at the 60 day mark for you. No need for you to do anything else. You will get an itinerary at the end with each dining reservation laid out.

I have done this before and it was so much easier than doing it piecemeal for myself. I just sent one email to GS with a list of restaurants and times I wanted to book and it was all done for me.

Of course, everyone else is right and there isn't as much demand to book exactly at 60 days.

You still can. Just wait until 60 days from your LAST vacation day, then call to make reservations for your entire stay. Most of the time you can make reservations a few days ahead of the day you want. :)
