We have several other people who are getting close and I wonder who will be the first to turn Space Mountain Orange?

Loved all the rowing talk and it gives me a chance to show off my uncanny ability to turn any conversation into a conversation about Disneyland!

Did you know that at Disneyland you can paddle yourself 2400 feet around the Rivers of America? You can on the Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes! This attraction is a free-floating canoe experience where up to twenty visitors paddle a canoe accompanied by two guides. This is the only Disneyland attraction that is powered by park visitors! :cool2:

Now some exciting news about our team! :yay:

As of now we are at 1701/22150 which means in just 514 short minutes we will be turning Blue Bayou Restaurant Blue as a team!!!!

Every minute counts today so let's get moving! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I have no minutes to report from yesterday because I sat on my behind while watching playoff hockey. BUT tonight I RUN!

Just wanted to let you know that every time I read "Blue Bayou Restaurant Blue" it makes me want to fly to California and try that Monte Cristo sandwich I keep seeing in Disneyland trip reports. The ONE time I went to Disneyland in my life both Pirates and the Blue Bayou were closed for refurbishment :(

(and now you know why I need to run...because food)

I love this "ride". It always makes me feel like I am EARNING the next Mickey bar I eat :).

Catching up from the past few days (usually hard to get a chance to post Tuesday & Wednesday ...)
Tuesday, June 2 - 70 minutes running
Wednesday, June 3 - 40 minutes basketball
Thursday, June 4 - 42 minutes running
Puts me at 152/600. May have underestimated my goal, but I after a 10K this weekend I may take it a little easier.

Wasn't planning on doing anything else today BUT my daughter came home in tears from school today ( good lord I can't believe all the 6th grade drama! ) anyhow, after 30 minutes of crying in her room I decided we needed to go for a hike. No more crying, no eating your feelings - just some exercise to work out the problem! She really didn't want to go but I made her. At the half way point she really started to perk up and enjoy the hike!
60 minutes hiking
140/1200

some early morning stretching/yoga (I'm really starting to love just 10-15 minutes each morning of stretching and meditating), some tennis before dinner (which included running after the balls that went flying over the fence) and a post-dinner walk.

82 minutes today = 292/2000

LOL -- because food is a good reason to run! ::yes:: Some of us also run for rum. :drinking1 And FYI if you ever want a Monte Cristo and can't get into the Blue Bayou, Cafe Orleans is a place to get one and their garlic pomme frites are delicious. :cool2:

Yes, and it is a hot day they will give you a little splash with the paddle to cool you down for about two seconds. :rotfl:

mmmmm....Mickey bars.....
:thumbsup2

45 minutes walking/running. Where's my Mickey bar?

225/1000

Any extra minutes you have go to the team minutes so it's a win/win for everyone. :cool2:
