Disneyland DAS - which account?

Hi,

My Mom and I will be going to Disneyland in November. She is eligible for DAS and used it for the first time in WDW in 2022. I'm a little confused how it works with Disneyland as our Disney accounts cannot be linked as friends/family like we do for WDW.

We both have the Disneyland app. Currently, the room and tickets are only linked to my account; her name is listed as the second guest on both the hotel reservation and park tickets (Booked separate, not as a package) as I was unsure if we could add both reservations to both accounts, or, if it can only be linked to one account. Can I also add it to her account?

If I cannot add it to her account - When she does the DAS call, should she be logged in to her Disney account, or mine? Last time she used hers, as she is the one registering, but if nothing (tickets and hotel) is currently linked to her Disney account, how would that work? Just trying to figure it out.

Thanks

I'm not going to be much help here, I think.

But my DD uses DAS and she was listed as a party on the reservation (we stayed in the same room together along with my DW and DS).

My DD just used our reservation information (dates of stay, park reservations, etc.) as her information when doing the DAS interview. I do recall something to the effect that none of the party members in our reservation could see the tickets or DAS selections, etc. until like 7 days before the trip. Again, I'm having trouble with total recall here. I do know that my DD was able to complete her DAS selections and it was all tied into our account and I could see it all as the reserving party. My family had no issue.

Perhaps there is something different when you don't book a package and you book separate.

Add both tickets to both accounts. They connect the DAS to a specific ticket and not a person.
