disneyland christmas crowds

Hello- Thinking about going to either disneyland or disney world in dec. 2013. Just wondering if in early dec, during the week (not on the weekends) is it still pretty crowded? (we have gone to disney 5 times, but want to try out disneyland) Our kids are little (will be 2&4) and I thought disneyland might be a little better for them since we can walk to the parks ect. (but at the same time i do really want to see the new fantasyland at disney world)
