Friends are taking their little ones (ages 3 and 2) to Disneyland next month, and they're needing to know where to find princesses, lol. Their little girl (age 3) is obsessed and can't stop talking about meeting the princesses! Does anyone know where the princesses usually hang out at Disneyland? If they were going to wdw, I could fill them in, no problem, but i haven't made it to DL yet!

The Princesses can be found at the Princess Fantasy Faire in DL - though you never know which ones will be there, as they rotate. Also, the line can sometimes be quite long.

Ariel's Grotto character meal in DCA has several Princesses onsite - again, you never know which ones will be there in addition to Ariel.

There are usually a couple of Princesses at the Goofy's Kitchen character meal (mixed in with the furry characters).

Jasmine has a PhotoPass location in Adventureland.

If you are in DCA, I think there's always a princess out for Drawn to the Magic. The characters on stage for this will do a meet and greet afterward. This is how DD met Cinderella and Snow White, on different days. :thumbsup2

thank you both :) your information is super helpful, as they've never been to DL before. i really appreciate it!

I would try to time Princess Fantasy Faire so you hit the princesses about when the coronation ceremony starts (maybe the first Coronation Ceremony of the day?). I have heard that maybe 15 minutes before the ceremony starts, they pull out the "classic" princesses and rotate in perhaps Ariel, Tiana, and Belle. As far as I know, Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora appear in the Coronation Ceremony show, which can be cute....and then myself and another DISer on another day were in the area after the first Coronation Ceremony of the day, and a few minutes after the show ended, the princesses came out for meet and greets! So you could line up and actually choose your favorite of the three, which was very cool. I wouldn't get kids excited over it, but it's worth a try.

I think the other tips mentioned are all of the "confirmed" ways to meet princesses.

I put everything I learned about meeting the princesses at http://bihntheredonethat.wordpress.com/2010/06/17/disneyland-meeting-the-princesses/ . We got very lucky, but if we would have taken the trouble to do Aladdin's Oasis, we feasibly could have met all 7 in the span of about 2 hours, without spending a dime!

I think Ariels Grotto is worth the money if she is really inlove with the princesses. I am 18 and still got really excited when I got to meet them through breakfast:rolleyes1! The food is really good too plus its a fun start to the day.
