Disneyland at the end of June,Any Discount?Large Crowds?Weather? Help??

Hi, Tink. I'll try to help as we have been to DL in June several times.

Disneyland generally doesn't offer a lot of discounts like WDW, but they do have a special ticket purchase right now on their website. I think it's 5 days for the price of 3--a great deal!

Crowds will be heavy, but not the worst of the summer. We used to always go the last week of June, but it's become increasingly more crowded during that time, so we go earlier in the month now. Expect waits of 30-60 minutes without Fastpass. If you're there right when the park opens, you should be able to get a lot done before the masses set in. During Fantasmic and the fireworks is another good time to hit the more popular rides.

While it may be crowded, weather-wise late June in S. California is absolutely beautiful! It should be sunny and warm, but not as hot as July or August. There is usually no humidity or rain. It can get chilly at night and in the early morning, so you may want to take a jacket. Some years we have needed the jackets, but sometimes we haven't.

tiggeroo42, What hotel do you most like on Harbor Blvd?? Are the hours longer at the end of June??

We like the Candy Cane Inn. Nice rooms, good free breakfast, very close to DL (5 minute walk). The hours will be later; I'm thinking it was 10 pm at DCA and 12 pm at DL last year?? Make sure you bring a coat or sweatshirt, we had to buy them last year it was so chilly at night.

I agree with goofy and a lot of the other posters on this board--Candy Cane is great! It's right next door to Disneyland, so it's possible to walk, but you can also take their shuttle. Some hotels share shuttles, but Candy Cane has their own. The rooms are large and very nice, and they have a great free breakfast.

I think the "extended summer hours" begin in the middle of June. That also includes nightly fireworks, parades, and Fantasmic.
