Disneyland Altered Letter Swap: Postal back to you!

So since I am not in the MK Swap, I haven't done these Altered Letters before. So I went ahead and did my prototypes for the 2 groups that are already done. I can see how much fun these will be.

Those are great...make some for the groups I am not already in and I may get sucked into doing some more

Yeah, I realized that while I was making these..."what I really need to do is work on the ones still with open spots." I am annoyed, because I have some ideas using Blackletter. Which when I looked at FedEX tracking yesterday, said it was going to come today. Now today, it says Tuesday! So that took me right out of the creative mood.

I got mine with reward points. I wasn't sure, since it was a font and I have SCAL. But I decided to get it because of the bookmark, shield, banner and frame.

Hope, are those the Old West cart? My DH picked it up for me last night. I was going to use it too. I'll make sure I pick different embellishments.

Yes, almost all of it. Except the T in Frontierland, that is from the Pooh font. It's a nice cart, lots of useful stuff on the icon feature.

I was sad to see that the wood and rope letters don't have a shadow. Thanks for the reminder about the Pooh cart.

I know, shadows for some of those would be nice. Although, for this swap if you put it on something, or two layers of something, even though the rules say shadowed, it would be okay. If you look at my Big Thunder "T"...there is no shadow. Some of the things would be great to use, but I don't want people to start thinking, "There is no shadow, I can't use it." As always, "Do you love it, and think others would too?" If a yes, your good.

So using the "wanted poster" or a horse as a backdrop could be counted as the shadow?

It can, if there is also an embellishment in some way. Let's say you have a letter with a shadow, on a horse...in that case the horse would be the "embellishment." Or you could have a letter, on a horse, and maybe the letter has a cowboy hat. The horse would be the shadow, and the hat the embellishment. But you can't have just one unshadowed letter, and one unshadowed horse. In other words, the horse can't be both the shadow and the embellishment. Does that make sense?

Yup it's been awhile since I've played in this forum but I'm trying to get back on the scrap wagon.. Since I have more ideas I want more letters...

I'll also take the last spot in adventureland I think It'll be A and N but not 100% and the letter E for pirates

I thought I would fill in some empty spots for the altered letter groups. Give me:

Grp. 1 Disneyland last spot
Grp. 5 Critter Country "N " and "Y"
Grp. 9 Tomorrowland "T" and "A"
Grp. 11 Pirates "A"
Grp. 13 Mad Tea Party "Y" and "R"

Gotcha down! We'll fill this up eventually. I've removed the empty groups.

So I haven't prototyped these yet, but here are my ideas for the Small World, and Mad Tea Party groups. It means I HAVE to get the Destinations cartridge.

ETA: Destinations is ordered...Hallmarkscrapbook had it for $33.99.
