I am considering taking DD6 and DS4 to Disneyland without DH (It's his weekend at the races with the guys). They are young enough that I don't feel comfortable sending either of them alone in a ride vehicle. What rides will we not all 3 fit in? My son is 40 inches so any rides that he isn't tall enough for are out and I can find that info, I just need to know if there are any rides that they may be looking forward to that I need to prepare them for the possibility that they may not be able to ride. Thanks for any advice you could give me!

For awhile it was just the 3 of us going on our trip this month, but my dad and step mom decided to come along. I would've been alright without them but it'll be great to have them with us. The only ride DD can't go on in DL (not sure about DCA) is Indiana Jones which would've been a bummer not to go on (probably DS's favorite ride) but we won't have to worry about it so all is well. See the little foto of us ~ that was taken last Sept. the 3 of us could fit in all of the FL rides in the same "buggy", same for Winnie the Pooh. DD will be in a stroller and I plan to (definately would if my dad & step mom weren't coming) use a actual leash for DS, a small one (did this on our 1st trip as a family in 06 ~ DS wasn't quite 6 then) you'd both need belt loops on your pants, the handle loop part would be how it's connected to you, clip the clip end on your childs belt loop, to shorten the length run the leash through your childs belt loop and clip it to your belt loop ~ I hope that makes sense (I should post pictures) this way your child is connected to you without a monkey or puppy on their back ;) HTH and if you do go have a great time!

I've done DL alone with my kids since DS was a baby. I even used to take the double stroller alone! Most FL rides you can do all 3 of you in a car. Splash will be okay. Space Mountain, no- your older child will need to ride in front of or in back of you. Same with Big Thunder, and Matterhorn. My DD was usually okay with that by the time DS was tall enough for those rides. Pirates, HM, even Buzz are okay all 3 of you.

You all can have a wonderful time in Toontown, and on TSI/Pirate's Lair.

Will you be doing DCA as well?

Thank you both for putting my mind at ease. I really think I can do this even if DH thinks I am crazy! We will probably go to DCA for a few things, the kids are super excited about Toy Story Mania and for some reason are facinated by Tower of Terror, but at my kids ages most of our time will be spent a DL.
Can't wait!

Just wanted to say "hi" to fellow Krewe member! Have a great time at Disney! I don't think you will have any problems going on rides that fit three. Be sure to check out the bugs life rides over in California Disney!

I will be at Disneyland April 26 to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday with a stay at Grand Caliornian hotel and a day at Disneyland and Cal. Disney.

Hi Steph!
I miss the ship! But now I have a new disney adventure to plan!! We will be out there August 5-8. It will be a Tues-Friday trip so hopefully the crowds won't be too extreme? It will be our 1st time out there so I am a little nervous but super excited!

How exciting!! gonna so some great weather and your gonna LOVE Disneyland! I have been so many times and it's great memories! plus super easy to navigate and can't beat downtown Disney for shopping and people watching and Build A Bear and the Rain Forest Cafe...can ya tell I love the Disneyland area? LOL!

Glad to hear your planning your adventure! will be in Disneyland in a few weeks let me know if you need any maps or anything. I would be happy to send them to you.:) pirate:

Thanks so much! I can't think of anything I need yet but would love to have you as my personal Disneyland expert! Mind if I PM you with any questions that I may come up with along the way? Feel free to send me any great tips you may have too.
