Disneyland - Airport Question

I plan on visiting Disneyland in early June. I can get an "OK" rate to LAX but a fantastic rate to SNA. What's the difference in distance, etc. and if we go to SNA, are there good shuttle services to the Disneyland hotels from SNA and what would be the approximate expense for the shuttle? Thanks for any help!

SNA is John Wayne Airport in Orange County. It is much closer to Disneyland. I don't know what the shuttle costs would be, but it will be much faster and a shorter distance, so it should be cheaper than coming in from LA. We live in Orange and when we fly to WDW I always check the rates from SNA since it would be much easier than a LAX departure. We always seem to use LAX, however, because it's usually quite a bit cheaper. If you found a big savings on the flight into SNA, it sounds like you've got a win-win situation.

You have your choice of a variety of shuttle companies, taxi, and Airport Bus to get to the Disneyland resorts from SNA. If you take a shuttle, be certain to ask before you get in if they are going directly to the Disneyland resorts only - you do not want to get a shuttle that will go anywhere else in Orange County first. We made that mistake one time. If you have 4 people or more you might be better off taking a taxi or taxi-van. No advanced reservations are needed.

I have never waited more than a minute to get into a shuttle or the Bus - they come by all the time.
