Disneyland 70th speculations and news

I'm doing it. I'll let you know if it was worth it!
We bit the bullet as well. A couple of months ago were talking about how great the $120 tour would be if it included A Magical Life, parade, and fireworks viewing. While this event is pricier than most D23 events, it is still cheaper than what we had considered spending on the tour.

We attended the D23 55th Anniversary of the Disney Archives event earlier this month. There was no mention of who would be speaking, just that we would learn how the archives worked and see some of the archived items. They ended up having two panels. One group explained the history and how the archives worked. The second panel was a group of people who spoke about how they used the Disney archives in their career. The second panel included Kim Irvine, Justin Springer, Bill Farmer, Don Hahn, and Martha Blanding. They also unveiled some newly acquired items - Timothee Chalamet's harmonica, Scrump and the portal gun from Lilo & Stitch Live Action, Jim Henson's Kermit the Frog puppet, Kermit's banjo, and several Foley instruments. It was pretty cool.

I've enjoyed D23 events in the past. I'm hoping this one doesn't disappoint.

Hallmark Channel, of course, has Christmas in July, but that's just a few weeks of Christmas movies so people can get psychological relief from the summer heat by watching films filled with snow. Then Hallmark puts Christmas away until November.
We are strict at home about holidays too. I do have to say, one of our new summer traditions with my son is when Lowe's starts putting out the animated Halloween decorations in July. Then the funny thing is they remove all the Halloween decorations in early October and put out all the Christmas items. The Christmas items are then gone by mid-December.

It's a bizarre way to manage holiday decorations!

By the time I realize I need new Xmas lights every year they are already gone :(

I celebrate Halloween once I go to my first event for the season

So this year it will be the second week of September after I go to HHN

A lot of places are really leaning into summerween this year so Disney has to capitalize too ☺️

Hi
