Disneyland 70th speculations and news

Any idea what collection the conductor hat part of, or is that park exclusive? That's top of my list to pick up.

I believe it is part of Celebration. Will you be visiting the parks soon? I saw them in several stores yesterday.

No keys yesterday but they were promoting the heck out of the new bubble wands. The bubble wands take up a lot of space in the stores. They were also promoting the $50 Mickey popcorn bucket more than usual. We saw them hanging from strings above the carts that sell snacks for the parades.

I think they’ve went overkill on popcorn & drink stuff. On Reddit, it was mentioned that they’re using a wholesale clearance center (near Santa Clarita IIRC) to move some of this stuff for cheap (starting at $3.99). For now, they stuffed all the extra stuff from Star Wars Season of the Force into Alien Pizza Planet. You can get breadsticks in stead of popcorn…

Disneyland's IG story today is all about the bubble wand. Yesterday they had CM standing in front of stores with bubble wand demos instead of pin trading.

It sounds like they gave some of the larger vloggers a complementary key and it worked. The vloggers are now reviewing the 70th Celebration Tour. I'm guessing the tours were not selling out. I would expect the bubble wand to soon be in the hands of vloggers who feature their kids in their social media.

No. The 70th tours are not selling out. Expect the 70th tour to end in August and be replaced by the Halloween Tour. I also found out today that the Paint the Night will probably return for the Holiday Time season in November and it will not run during Halloween Time. Cost savings move. I got a phone call from WDTC about the excellent review I emailed to the Resort and them.

I would have expected them to do PTN during Halloween when there isn't much happening in DL but then pause it when the holiday garland is up and the Christmas Fantasy Parade is in the late afternoon. Would they cut out snow on Main Street if PTN was still running?

I agree with you. But maybe they will not do the holiday garland across Main Street and stop the snow. We are assuming the Christmas Parade will run in the late afternoon. They could just do one time for Christmas Parade. Or maybe PTN will end until next Spring.

The floats have to get back to Small World. They can't leave them at Main Street. If they don't drive them back during the day, they have to drive them back after the park closes.

Agreed. My prediction is PTN will return in Spring 2026 and everything will stay the same as it was in 2024. No parades for Halloween Time and the same lineup of entertainment for Holiday Time.
