I edited this to add the Carthay Circle projections. They start at 8:30 pm and run every 30 min until park closing. I think we were the only people waiting to see them. Maybe 10 people stopped to watch the 2 minute show. Everyone else kept walking.People have been complaining about not enough entertainment. It looks like entertainment is now being offered in every land.
Pixar Pals Playtime Party opened at Fantasyland Theater and Stitch's Interplanetary Beach Party Blast opened at Tomorrowland Terrace. Tapestry of Happiness times have been adjusted.

I wouldn't bank on there being as much 70th in Sept. or Dec. They are already stocking Halloween merchandise. My trip is June 14-17...I really hope they get the paper items restocked by then!b
I do appreciate you keeping me apprised of the situation...if I dont get everything this trip, there's always September, December, February...![]()
At least I know what souvenirs my kids will want now!I wouldn't bank on there being as much 70th in Sept. or Dec. They are already stocking Halloween merchandise.

I'm not sure. It was very difficult to find the times. The people who were most knowledgeable were the hostesses at Carthay Circle.Do they do the Carthay projections at park close, at 10pm? Or just the 3 times? With the way the entertainment is, I would probably only be able to see the 10 on my way into to the 10:15 World of Color. Otherwise it’ll be YouTube for me.
Yeah, I was quite disappointed in this - it's not worth waiting for or planning around, in my opinion (while Tapestry of Happiness is)I'm not sure. It was very difficult to find the times. The people who were most knowledgeable were the hostesses at Carthay Circle.
It is nothing like Tapestry of Happiness. It is 2 min of a tiny Tinkerbell flying along with light patterns, different colors & stars to the tune of Celebrate Happy.
The chances of them having a wide selection of 70th merchandise is very likely. Especially the core Celebration Collection. The precedence based on past recent celebrations is that there are several collections that the assortment of items changes and evolves as the celebration goes on. Walt Disney World’s 50th had several collections that most closely parallel Disneyland’s 70th (Vault, Castle, etc.). These off shoot collections might have a different merchandise by April. But the Celebration Collection should stay pretty static for the 16ish months of the celebration.I know there is no way of knowing this, but I’m going to ask anyway. Perhaps those that remember past anniversaries can weigh in. How likely is it that they will still have a ton of 70th merch in April 2026? That’s when we are coming for our first DLR trip and I’m hoping they keep restocking a majority of the items.
I ask because I know that they’ll be dropping merch online on June 9th. I already plan to buy ears and a couple other things I have my heart set on if I see them. But I’d hate to miss out on some stuff because our trip is not at the beginning of the celebration.
Thanks! I actually went to WDW’s 50th, but that was a bit of an outlier because of Covid. When we went, supply chain issues caused some merch to be scarce. Obviously, that isn’t the issue now. But to be on the safe side, I’ll pick up some items online if I can. That will spread out my spending anyway. The chances of them having a wide selection of 70th merchandise is very likely. Tapestry of Happiness is only projected on the facade of IASW. The times we've seen it, there has not been a major crowd and it's been fairly easy to walk up and get a decent view. This may be different if you wanted a view from the front railing, of course. It's projected several times a night and in general the later it is the less crowded it will be. For instance, the last showing tomorrow night is at 11:45 PM.Can anyone recommend a good spot to watch Tapestry of Happiness without having to get there super early? We do have the Fantasmic package booked for one night, not sure if we should be trying to catch it after that?
