It’s crazy how fast it goes, isn’t it. It only reinforces that buying D\/C sooner than later is a good idea.

Sorry you missed the 70th! Maybe you can start planning a visit for the 75th?

I went last month and didn’t barely notice. Maybe 75 will be bigger?

• Sherman Brothers tribute on Main Street
• Small World final verse
• Tapestry of Happiness
• Paint the Night

I don’t know what @Chili327 missed, but you missed the adorable magic band kiosks at Jungle Cruise, Main St., Autopia (I think the Frontierland ones disappeared quickly?) that printed out souvenir tickets.

I would have preferred to have a new parade or new fireworks show to reusing recent hits, but I do love the Celebrate Happy cavalcade and theme, and I really enjoy tapestry of happiness.

I would have preferred to have a new parade or new fireworks show to reusing recent hits, but I do love the Celebrate Happy cavalcade and theme, and I really enjoy tapestry of happiness.

I think Dante's addition to IASW and the Tangled Tower on Storybook Land Canal Boats were also for the 70th.

I guess I did see the merch and probably some decorations.
I didn’t know A Magical Life, was related to the 70th. It’s not going away though right? (same with Sherman bros?)

@VGCgroupie - as has been discussed, it's not too late to catch the 70th this summer. I went last summer with my mother but DH wasn't able to go, so going again in June with him (and I'm more excited than he is )

How could I forget the Midway Mania overlay? Definitely one of my favorites! Going to be hard to go back to normal scoring. We’ve still never managed to get Bear though…

Tapestry of Happiness is pure gold, especially if you remember Disneyland from more than 30 years ago.

And I really love Paint the Night. My perspective is different as I didn't get to see it during its original run, so it's new to me.

I do think the ears are gorgeous (the hat is a bit much in my opinion!) but at several hundred dollars, I would probably be too nervous to actually wear them to the park…and I don’t really need around the house Swarovski ears.

Ah, thanks, the crystals explain the pricing. Very pretty, but as others have noted, I'm not sure where one could feasibly use the hat or the ears. The bag is more practical.

  • Interested in learning more about the Force? For a limited time beginning May 22, young guests and their families visiting Black Spire Outpost are invited to Savi’s Workshop for a complimentary experience in the ancient art of building a lightsaber with the Youngling Saber Building Expo – A Loth-Cat Crew Experience.
  • During this youngling-oriented experience (recommended for visitors ages 3-9, who must be accompanied by an adult), kids and those who are kids at heart can enjoy the fun of participating in a lightsaber-building adventure and becoming the newest members of the Loth-Cat Crew as capacity allows daily. This offering is an interactive experience only, and a lightsaber is not included with participation. Visitors will have the option to purchase their lightsaber at the end of the experience.
• DCA Evening Family Dance Party
