This July will still be the 70th, even though it will actually be the 71st.
It’s crazy how fast it goes, isn’t it. It only reinforces that buying D\/C sooner than later is a good idea.I made this thread 1 year 9 months ago.. Where has the time gone!!

I went last month and didn’t barely notice. Maybe 75 will be bigger?Sorry you missed the 70th! Maybe you can start planning a visit for the 75th?![]()
Shouldn’t it end on July 15th?This July will still be the 70th, even though it will actually be the 71st.
https://disneyland.disney.go.com/en-ca/events-tours/70th-anniversary/Have they told us when 70th celebrations end?
The 70th ends on August 9th. Just in time for Halloween to beginShouldn’t it end on July 15th?
Thinking about what was added for the 70th that you might have missed.I went last month and didn’t barely notice.
I don’t know what @Chili327 missed, but you missed the adorable magic band kiosks at Jungle Cruise, Main St., Autopia (I think the Frontierland ones disappeared quickly?) that printed out souvenir tickets.Thinking about what was added for the 70th that you might have missed.
- The esplanade castle
- Decorations in both parks, DTD, and all three hotels
- Character costumes
- Celebrate Happy Cavalcade
- 70th treats in both parks
- Merchandise in all stores - with another 70th merchandise release coming soon.
- Walt Disney A Magical Life
- Sherman Brothers tribute on Main Street
- Small World final verse
- Tapestry of Happiness
- Paint the Night
Thanks! I also missed Midway Mania overlay, Key to Disneyland, and WOC Happiness.I don’t know what @Chili327 missed, but you missed the adorable magic band kiosks at Jungle Cruise, Main St., Autopia (I think the Frontierland ones disappeared quickly?) that printed out souvenir tickets.
I would have preferred to have a new parade or new fireworks show to reusing recent hits, but I do love the Celebrate Happy cavalcade and theme, and I really enjoy tapestry of happiness.
I guess I did see the merch and probably some decorations.Thinking about what was added for the 70th that you might have missed.

I didn’t know A Magical Life, was related to the 70th. It’s not going away though right? (same with Sherman bros?)
We used the Frontierland ones on Saturday night. Still there.I don’t know what @Chili327 missed, but you missed the adorable magic band kiosks at Jungle Cruise, Main St., Autopia (I think the Frontierland ones disappeared quickly?) that printed out souvenir tickets.
Wait, what??? Is Hermes making Mickey Mouse ears now?? Anyone got photos of these pricey items?New 70th merchandise was released today. Good news is that it is also 30% off. The bad news... the bag and ears are $500! The cap is $550!
How could I forget the Midway Mania overlay? Definitely one of my favorites! Going to be hard to go back to normal scoring. We’ve still never managed to get Bear though…Thanks! I also missed Midway Mania overlay, Key to Disneyland, and WOC Happiness.
I think Dante's addition to IASW and the Tangled Tower on Storybook Land Canal Boats were also for the 70th.
Tapestry of Happiness is pure gold, especially if you remember Disneyland from more than 30 years ago.Hopefully you caught Tapestry of Happiness!
My kids (who don’t remember it’s last run) really, really love it.And I really love Paint the Night. My perspective is different as I didn't get to see it during its original run, so it's new to me.
You have my attention… (mostly joking, but let me know if you find it).Wait, what??? Is Hermes making Mickey Mouse ears now?? Anyone got photos of these pricey items?
I do think the ears are gorgeous (the hat is a bit much in my opinion!) but at several hundred dollars, I would probably be too nervous to actually wear them to the park…and I don’t really need around the house Swarovski ears. This is a screen shot from Instagram. I think _casa_madrigal_ got the clearest photos. They have Swarovski crystals.

Ah, thanks, the crystals explain the pricing. Very pretty, but as others have noted, I'm not sure where one could feasibly use the hat or the ears. The bag is more practical. This is a screen shot from Instagram. I think _casa_madrigal_ got the clearest photos. They have Swarovski crystals.
