Both overlays, the holiday parade, and holiday fireworks will be running during the holiday dates. HM adds the overlay earlier because it is Nightmare Before Christmas and covers both Halloween and Christmas. Small World overlay is just the December holidays.

Thanks. It’s too bad we’ll miss PTN etc., but I’ll be happy to experience the holiday overlays since WDW doesn’t have them for those particular attractions. And of course it’s motivation to return!

Agreed! We loved seeing the scenes with Christmas lights at night and the holiday jokes were fun. How many seasons did they do it, 1 or 2?

I think just one

It wasn't that popular but also the parks now for sure would really love it

I thought it was fun and different. And it seemed low cost/low effort (not an elaborate overlay) enough.

It was cool, but I do remember basically walking on it it at night time...which is unheard of during the Holidays

So I think thats what doomed it was it didn't meet expectations but I do think if it came back people would like it

Does anything think Small World will need to close in July for a day or two for the new song? I'm assuming it will be a simple overnight switch like when they to Hyperspace Mtn.

Is the addition happening in July or in May with the beginning of the 70th celebrations?

I read July 17th. I'm assuming they'll get it ready during the current refurb and flip a switch overnight in July.
