I have been in November twice, once that would have been perfect and once a little chillier so leggings or legging capris underneath and a sweatshirt on top were needed in the morning and later in the evening.

Living here for 22 years (80 miles due west of WDW), Nov can be a mixed bag. Early Nov can still be very warm but less humid. Late Nov like T-giving can be coolish (especially in the evening) and more crowded.
I would say that it depends on your kids. If they are use to wearing dresses while "playing" I'd say go for it. DH and I see lots of little ones in dresses at WDW.
If they are the type that loves the rides and such, maybe not so much as I think that some of the rides don't lend themselves to dress wearing very well. That's my opinion of course but it's what I see.
Either way, I personally still wear shorts in Nov at WDW as I just find it more practical.

Thanks we r first weeks wasn’t sure if it’s cool in evenings

When I've been down there around that time its always hit or miss. Some days it still gets crazy hot others its super chilly. So I always tried to pack a few pairs of pants/leggings and brought a jacket. Often I'd wear the jacket in the mornings but what I wore in terms of pants or shorts would be determined by what the weather app told me for the day

November starts to get iffy and you may want to consider a variety.
I've been in shorts and I've been in a winter coat lol.
Last November my mom messaged me it was 31F and sunny down there at 7am and I messaged her back a pic of the 8 inches of wet heavy snow we had gotten in a 3 hour period and it was 31F here as well.
