My dd was 2 and 4 months. My best advice is to go with the flow. the rides we thought she'd be good on, she'd FREAK (voyage of little mermaid had old fashioned dive suit in the pre-show area, we left after waiting 30 min.) sigh.
then other attractions, she was fine! the only 3-d show she'd watch was muppets. she was trying to grab the bubbles, hilarious. The one in MK was a no go.
MK: She didn't like Tomorrowland AT ALL. the cold, futuristic feel did not appeal I guess. But she loved driving the cars at the speedway, even tho she could barely see over the wheel. Small world is a must. dumbo of course. Jungle cruise was good. She LOVED

Crystal Palace pooh characters. This is the child who ran screaming when the phone rang. She wanted Piglet to pick her up...go figure. Winne the pooh ride we rode 3x. Peter pan had some dark pirate scenes

but she was fine. Snow white was closed...so no advice.
EPCOT: she loved Nemo ride, and Turtle talk with Crush. Bored with circle of life, don't bother. she liked the boat ride that Nestle hosts, can't remember name of it. We didn't tackle the pavillion side, too far to walk with little to keep her entertained. Spaceship earth was intimidating, she wouldn't go near it.
AK: Another Dumbo-like ride here, just with dinosaurs instead of dumbo. ride this one to death, you get 4 rides in for what you'd stand in line for Dumbo at MK. We walked on it over and over. dumbo was an insane wait. There's no one at this ride for some reason. She sat thru Lion King show ok, but she didn't know the movie yet, got antsy. Now she'd be all over it. The safari looks rough but she was fine, liked it alot.
Hollywood: she thot lights motor action was too loud. It is. But she's a girly girl. She did like muppet show. Do not do Sci-Fi. I was hoping she'd be too young to figure out the old b&w movies on the screen. She wasn't. We left with our drinks in paper cups. Beauty and Beast bored her. Leave your son with your dh and see it, it's good.
As far as dining, we brought alot of our own food. Fruit and snax. We did Biergarden one night, she had a blast dancing to the oompah band. And Ohana's, she hula'd away there too. Great fun.
Just play it by ear, he might surprise you. We did baby swap quite a bit, CM's are awesome, they let my older kid ride twice with other parent.
I think my dd liked the stores more than mosts attractions. Ah, my shopper in training.
She was shy at first then turned into a Character hog by the time we left. We'd see a character and she'd run into line for photo ops. At 2!!
Have fun, and remember whatever you don't do this time around with ds, gives you a reason to go back.
