Is there a way to get Disney parks ringtones without paying a monthly fee? (Ie: a website that sells them per ringtone, or better yet, free?)

I've used phonezoo for the last few years. There are only some Disney ringtones available, but if you have the cd or the mp3 of the song you want, you can make your own tone.

I actually looked into phonezoo and they definately had some that I want-but don't they get you locked into a monthly fee? What was your experience with that? I just want some of the ringtones they offer and then not be bothered after that. Is that possible?

I haven't paid a cent for it. All it would cost is whatever you pay for messaging. This is from their FAQ:

We do not charge users for our service. Creating, storing or sharing ringtones or photos on Phonezoo does not cost anything . Keep in mind that only non-copyrighted material can be shared. For the content marked copyright, we ask you to upload your copy of the song. We make money when people click on advertisements on our site and buy products from our preferred vendors.
Phonezoo does not charge for this service, but standard or other charges may apply from your carrier. Please check your plan with your carrier to make sure.

We send the content to your phone over your wireless carrier’s network which is very convenient. No cables, no bluetooth setup, etc.

So, to use Phonezoo in most cases you need to have text messaging and internet (in the case of Verizon Wireless, PIX messaging) access on your phone. You pay normal carrier charges for the use of those services.

Still have questions? You can reach us via the Support/Feedback page. We try our best to respond to all messages within 24 hours. Meanwhile, feel free to check out the rest of Phonezoo. Thanks!

As far as them bothering people, I know I have never gotten a message from them except for the ringtones I send. Sometimes I completely forget about them for a few months, and then when I want to make a new ringtone I'll go back to my account.

Thanks! I'll have to look at it again. I thought it stated a $10 monthly fee... guess I didn't completely understand! Ahh....just figured it out! It was an advertisement on the page I was looking at. Thanks for the help!

I use Phone Zoo all the time and just be careful because there is an advertiser that is right there on the page and its easy to click on them thinking it's part of phone zoo and I've done it by accident and noticed that it charges- Phone Zoo does not.
I wish there were more ringtones. I think they have a way that you can create your own from a playlist you may have but I've never checked it out. Or it may have only been pics.
I've gotten POTC, "I Know You" (Cinderella), and quite a few others. It's so easy.

I use a free program called Audacity. You can use any music on your computer, load it into the program, and edit the section of music you would like to use as a ringtone. If you have Firefox, you can install an toll onto your browser called downloadhelper and you can download the sound off of phonezoo, youtube, etc.

Myxer.com has a lot of free ringtones. Before last trip I downloaded a lot of Disney and some Harry Potter ringtones, they were all free and sounded really great. HTH :goodvibes

go to myxer.com - then search Disney and "free"

Love it - they send it to your phone, or to your email (DD has an account and then loads the free ringtones from the computer to her phone with a usb cord - I have an iphone, so it goes straight to the iphone)

Warning - its addictive! DD ringtone is Pirate's of the Caribbean, when the dogs hear that now, they get so excited, its funny!

I use Phonezoo, never paid a penny for anything. :) I have made my own tones as well. Now with my smart phone I just make my own tones on my phone but DBF and the girls both have "feature" phones so I make the tones and send them directly to them to use.
