Disney World? Nope! It's Worley World! Our 2011 Disney Adventures! *Updated 4/25/12*

Oh no! That's awful about the blackout mix up! Thank goodness you were still able to dance and have a great time. I could see something like that really ruining someone's trip! That blackout is what keeps me from saving some money on seasonal APs instead. Our big birthday is June 13th!

Olivia is too cute with the face paint, btw. :thumbsup2 Glad she was able to handle not getting into the park okay. This sounds like a fun day!

Sorry about the blackout dates. Are you blacked out for the whole summer??:scared1: At least Olivia got to dance and was happy with that!

The blackouts dates actually work pretty well for us (in addition to the fact that we can save a good chunk of change on tickets by getting the seasonal passes). The only thing that is bad is that my birthday is in July so I never get to go to Disney for my birthday, but I really can't stand being out in that miserable weather with huge crowds so it actually works out ok!

Our blackout dates this year are from June 9-August 16. In reality, I have no interest in being in the parks when it is so miserably hot and crowded, so the seasonal passes work really well for us (as long as I have my dates straight...:rolleyes1) Olivia is generally a pretty easy going and agreeable kiddo, so we are pretty lucky with that!

After 2 months of no Disney it was time to go back! First a little background. This trip would once again be a girls trip for Olivia and I, but it was also going to be when we FINALLY got to meet some of my DIS friends in real life!!! For the past few months I had been talking to Kristine (Tnkrbelle565), and we decided to meet up for a few days so Olivia and her DD Aisling could have some fun together. I had also been talking to Megan (TinkerbellLuvr7), so we were going meet up with her as well! I was so excited to finally meet them!

I booked Olivia and I at Pop Century (did you really expect anything different?) for Sunday and Monday nights with the quick service dining plan, and then just got a cheapo hotel for Saturday night. After many phone calls and texts with Kristine, I decided to change our quick service to the regular dining plan and we were going to join Kristine and her family for dinner one night. Ok, now I had one more meal credit left. Where should we use it? *Keep in mind that this is now mid to late July and we are traveling in mid to late August.* I hopped on Disney dining and tried to see what they had left that would work for us. I knew I wanted a breakfast on Monday morning maybe somewhere in the Epcot or MK area since we were planning on Epcot that day. I ended up with Cape May Cafe, which was fine with me since we had eaten there in December of 2010 and really enjoyed it. But...I ended up cancelling Cape May when I got something better that Olivia was really excited about...;) OK, I think that catches you up. Hotel reservations made. Dining plan booked/ADRs made. Plans made with new friends. I also one very special appointment booked for my little lady. Any guesses (no cheating if you were there with us...)?

It was finally Saturday August 20th! I was awake by 6:00 when Toby left for work and Olivia crawled out of bed around 7:45. Luckily I had packed the car the night before so there really wasn't too much to do before we left. I got the two of us ready pretty quickly, we ate some breakfast and were on the road by 8:30. After a quick stop at McD's for a diet coke we were really on our way!

By 10:15 we had made our way to our hotel for the night. Champions World Resort. We went to check in and leave our bags with bell services since I had meds that couldn't sit in the hot car all day only to discover that every hotel is not like Disney! They had a strict policy of not letting anyone check in until 3:00 and they didn't have a place to store luggage. Hmm. What to do now? It was right about then then Megan texted me to see if we had made it up there yet, and she said I could just head to her apartment and leave the meds and food there for the day until we were ready to check in later that night. Yeah! Megan to the rescue! :worship: Livy and I hopped back in the car and headed to Megan's place (which was less than 5 minutes from our hotel). We pulled in and FINALLY got to meet Miss Megan (as Olivia calls her) in real life!...and I have zero pictures. :headache: After some quick hellos we left Megan to finish getting ready and we headed off. Soon enough we saw this

We parked at the Beach Club (where Kristine and her family were staying) since I wasn't sure what our plans were for later that day. Almost as soon as we walked up a MK bus pulled up and we were off.

By 12:00 we were walking into MK and ready for some fun! The first order of business was to renew our GAC. Once that was taken care of I text Kristine to see where her family was so we could meet up. They were in line for Haunted Mansion, so that is where we headed. On the way we had to stop for a PP pic of course!

Finally it was time to head to HM and meet everyone! They weren't quite off the ride yet, so we had a few minutes to kill.

Up next: Fun times with the Smith family!

Yay finally!!!!! I'm so glad I could come to your rescue and store the meds :) Can't wait to read more!!

When I left off, Olivia and I were waiting Kristine and her family to get off of Haunted Mansion so we could finally meet! We spotted them pretty quickly and made our introductions (once again, no pictures! :headache:). Olivia and Aisling hit it off immediately and were chatting right away.

The ladies had enough of the standing in one place pretty quickly, they wanted rides! It was a unanimous decision, to Splash we went! After our nice and not too soaking ride, our ladies wanted more thrills, so we made our way next door to BTMRR.

By now it was getting later and it was going to be time to part ways so the Smith family could get some nice pool time in before their dinner and Olivia and I had a very special appointment at 2:00. We decided that we had time for one more ride together and the girls picked POTC. Us parents were quite happy with this since it was pretty hot out and we all needed some a/c!

After our ride we parted ways for the time being with plans to meet back up later for fireworks and Olivia and I made a quick potty stop and made our way towards the front of the park!

Up next: Exactly where are Olivia and I off to?

Hi guys! I just wanted to invite everyone to join in on my PTR for Olivia's birthday trip this year. I debated about just adding in it in with this TR, but decided to just start a new one instead. HERE it is! Come on over...and invite your friends too!!

Hi Erin :)

I just found your TR :)

You're so lucky to be so close to WDW and Livy is adorable. :)

Can't wait to read more. X

:welcome: So glad to have you here! I have to say, living so close to Disney is amazing, it is the only thing I like about living in Florida! Thanks, we think our little princess is pretty cute too, well most of the time!

I'm so impressed with Olivia going on so many "big girl" rides. We are still working our way up to those with Dylan, although he did ride Test Track a few times on our last trip. He is really hot & cold when it comes to bravery, so I guess we just have to catch him at the right time. :confused3 Can't wait to see where you go next.
