Does anyone have experience with activating the Military Salute Ticket when only the spouse is present and does not have a military ID? My dad is a veteran but will not be going with us, but my mom will be going so that does qualify per Disney rules. The problem is she doesn't have an active spouse ID and our trip is in less than 4 weeks so I'm not sure she can get an ID in time. My dad will purchase the tickets from a base so the only issue will be activating at Disney World. Is Disney lenient with this if she brings his military ID and maybe some sort of proof that she is his spouse?

Technically the spouse counts, but it would be helpful if she had her ID card present. The first thing they all for is an ID card to activate the tickets.

If they are going to a military base to get the tickets, she should be able to get an ID while they are there. When mine was last renewed, we made an appointment and got it right away. Just make sure her info is correct in DEERS.
