I am planning for my WDW trip for December, the last time we were there was back in August 2003. I pulled out the photo's we took and it brought back so many memories for my family. Our kids have grown so much! I came across one picture of our DS at the time he was 5. Isaiah loved Woody from Toy Story, he had the pictures on the wall, bedspread and tons of dolls. My dad found a kid size Woody doll, it freaked me out, but Isaiah loved it. We took the kids to Disney we were there for a week. Isaiah was so excited, he was finally going to meet his idol. The morning that we were scheduled to go to MGM, Isaiah could barely eat his breakfast, he was so nervous. We made it to Al's Toy Barn and there he was. Isaiah had this huge smile on his face, he could not believe it he was going to meet Woody! So, when it was his turn, he looked up at me and I said, "Go on baby, go say hi" I quickly grabbed my camera. He walked over and gave him a hug. Then he said to Woody, "I have a big Woody!" The Woody character looked at me and I quickly said, "A doll, he has a big Woody doll at home, it's his favorite toy!" Out of all the names, they had to name that character Woody! The people behind us were laughing. But Isaiah did not care that was the biggest moment in his life, and for me, even though I felt embarrassed at first, I could not help but cry. Now, Isaiah is 8 and he has given his Woody toys to his baby brother Devin. He is now into soldiers, he plans on joining the Army, so I am really missing those good ol'days! But I can't wait for our trip this year, I am really looking forward to making new memories. I would love to hear yours!
