Disney World Marathon?

We are planning to go to Disney Jan 5-13th of next year. The marathon and related events are scheduled for the 5-7th. Has anyone been when the marathon is taking place? Will it be more crowded? Will it make it hard to see the various parks while it is going on???

We go every year during the marathon and the crowds are very manageable. The only trouble you may run into is with transportation on the morning of the events, but other than that, you will barely notice that it is going on (other than seeing people limping around the parks for a few days afterward! )

We are going 1/1-1/9/07.From everything I have read here and other locations the marathon does not heavily effect park attendance but it does effect hotel room availablity and they go fast.
