Wondering if anyone has used the Disney World Flours/Gifts...
1) Am I understanding that the gifts items are waiting in your room when you check in? Or are the delivered the next day? How does this work with online check-in &/or later evening check in?

2) It seems fairly over priced... have you been please with the items you have ordered?

3) Other ways to get the same effects for less? Having items from the park sent to the room or bringing fun things with you from home?

I use Kelly's PDS (personal Disney shopper) on Facebook. She will shop for anything you require for a small fee. She will then leave the items with bell services. You just call bell services from your room and they will deliver your items to you. I def recommend her x

I would use Dreams Come True Personal Concierge. I found him on FB. He delivers awesome gift bags and cakes, also groceries and rentals. His prices are really reasonable. Kelly's PDS didn't return emails or messages. Inquired on FB and she doesn't shop in the parks anymore.

I have used Disney florist twice and whether you think it is worth it really depends on how much spare cash you have!
I looked at the in-room celebrations but they didnt fit our requirements, though they do look amazing.
I ordered one custom made gift baskets, just gave the cast member a budget and some basic info: Mickey related, lots of pins, a mug, tee etc. It was really lovely and they "picker of gifts" was very thoughtful and put a really nice basket together.
The following year I ordered a standard Halloween basket and while this was cute - it wasn't a patch on the personal one.

Depends what you're after really!

We'll be celebrating a birthday when we're at WDW so I ordered the Mickey's Grand Welcome Celebration package for $345 (includes del & tax). It's going to be a huge hit and will really set the tone for the vacation. Well worth the expense and I can't wait to see the responses when we get back to the room on our first full day.

Regarding delivery, at least for this package, I was told that our door and room would be decorated and set up on our first full day. We've got dinner at YSH and then wrap up our night at Illuminations. When we return to the room everything will be in place.

I used Disney Florist last february. It was my girls 1st trip, so I had ear hats, pins, and I think there was snack in there too. Cost last year around $35.00 a piece. My girls loved them. I told the front desk that I had ordered something when we checked in and they had a runner go up before my girls arrived in the room for a nice Mickey surprise. I would recommend if you want it at check in, that you tour the hotel for a little bti before going to your room, as the girls just missed seeing the runner.:rotfl2:

Can I ask how you set that up? Were you able to contact them right thru the reservations line?

The Disney Store had free personalization this weekend. I ordered three sets of ears for under $40 total (with personalization!!). I am going to bring them with us and ask them to leave them in the room when we check-in in the morning. By the time our room is ready in the afternoon, the ears can be laid out on the beds before we get there. Surprise when they open the door! (And I'm thinking it'll be a bit cheaper.) I got this idea from my friend who did it for years.

I am hoping to do the same thing with the personalized towels when another sale comes up.
