We have a trip 9/29-10/5 at the POP. we have free dining as part of the Bounce Back deal they had this past December.

The problem is I have been trying to add another room or upgrade resorts so the 4 of us arent so cramped. They wont let me. They stated that there are no more rooms available for the code.

I understand that and accept it.

Thing is when I asked to add a 2nd room at rack rate, they still wont let me saying I or anyone else in my package cant be on a separate reservation.
Why wont Disney let me spend more money?? Any advice?

I would call Disney back.

I would tell them: "if you don't let me add another room-only reservation in my name, I WILL book it through Travelocity/Expedia. Do YOU want my money, or do you want me to give it to them?" I'm sure they'll find a way around the "problem".

This is correct because you cannot break apart your package (and your travel party) and keep the package components at the discount (free dining is a discount). What you really want is to keep the package, and add a second room with a room-only reservation. To do this you need to book another person in their own room, and then have it tied into your reservation. This could backfire though as Disney does not guarantee connecting rooms.

Call them back and tell them you just want to book a room-only reservation and request that it connect with your room. There needs to be a name associated with that room though. Maybe "Aunt Rose" or "Grandma" can come along? (wink, wink)

Ahhh. I didn't even think of Expedia.
I think before I try that I will try to book the room only with a AAA discount and see if I can tie it with my reservation.
See this is why I love these boards:cheer2: Thanks

The current Free Dining offer doesn't include your dates, since it ends on Sept. 22. Since your package is from the Bounceback offer, which has expired, the CMs probably can't change it. You'll need to ask to speak to Guest Services at CRO. They seem to have special powers the average CMs don't for making changes to deals that have expired, ect. Give this a try first and see if they can accomodate you. Good luck!pixiedust:

laurabelle has it right.

Ask the CM to speak to Guest Services. They may be resistant, but be polite but firm. If they refuse to do this for you, ask for a supervisor.

Guest Services may STILL tell you there are no rooms available on your discount code... that DOES sometimes happen. But they are your best and only shot at getting what you want.
