So confused - I thought that there was only a tea service for kids that was very $$$ but I read recently that there is a free ticketed one? Has anyone ever done the tea for the kids and can tell me price and if it was worth it?
Thanks so much! Sailing on Monday and am making last minute decisions before I step aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder!

Perhaps you are reading about the one on the Panama Canal Cruise? I am not sure if they were offering it on the Alaska Cruises or not, but they do offer some specialty things on the longer cruises.

Edit to add: the one on the Wonder was not ticketed. It was "by invitation only" and each child got an invitation. You could not go to guest services the first day and get a ticket for it. I asked for them the first day and they told me that no such tea existed. A few days later, every kid on the ship got an invitation from Ariel to her tea party.

We were on the 8/3-8/10/15 Alaska cruise and the tea party is longer offered. You are talking about the tea party with Princesses right?

The "Royal Court Tea Party" is only held on the Fantasy -- that's the one that costs $$.

The classic ships have traditionally offered a free "Tea with..." [Alice, Princesses, etc.] on sailings of 7+ nights, but I'm not sure it's been offered lately. If it is, you'll need a free ticket. Stop by Guest Services once you board and ask; it should also be listed in the Navigator about getting tickets.

Enjoy your cruise!

Thanks For The info - since all kids are invited is it very crowded ?

Thanks for the info - I will check while onboard. I guess it's a good thing that the $$ one isn't offered as I probably would have caved and bought tix lol

Years ago there was a "tea" on the wonder 7 day to mexico. It was free. Not really tea-- apple juice and cookies and a couple princesses. We went to guest services on embarkation day to sign up.
