Disney Wonder October 16, 2015 San Diego 2 Day Cruise to Nowhere!!!

Hi everyone! We just got off the Fantasy in Port Canaveral last weekend and the homesickness for the cruise has already setting in. As a result, I just did the only REASONABLE thing and just booked us on this 2 night sailing. What can I say, we're gluttons ;)

Looking forward to saying hi on the ship! Its me, DH, DS9, and DD2. My husband and son have birthdays earlier in October, so we're celebrating them both on board. The kids have NO idea and hopefully I can keep it a secret until we pull up at the terminal on Friday morning and they see the Wonder waiting for them. Gosh, I'm so excited to surprise them! I'll also be 20 weeks pregnant, so bring on the food!!!

I'm usually way more on top of this when it comes to our Cruises. We booked this cruise last year while on the Southern Caribbean and I'm just now getting my act together and checking things out. Not nearly as much planning since it's so short and we get to drive to the port instead of flying.

Coming in from Cave Creek, AZ and will be myself and DD 15, DS 14 and DS 11. Unfortunately DH just got news he has to travel for work out of the country and will not be able to join us.

Still looking forward to the trip and it should be lots of fun!!

Can't wait for this cruise. It is a much needed mini-vacation. Hope its a smooth ride. I assume the ship won't be cruising too fast. Got sick on a 3 night cruise coming back from Ensenada 10 years ago. Too much tequila and a forward cabin made for a horrible night coming back. Since then I can't ride roller coasters rides. Won't be drinking much this time since DD is with us but taking Dramamine just in case!!:cool1:

My family and I just got off this cruise on Sunday. I'm here in your thread to answer any questions :)

The ship sails very slowly. Sometimes I wondered if it was even moving at all.

Hey guys! I just reserved this cruise for my family yesterday. It will be me, DH, DD 7 and DS 5. We just went on our first Disney cruise at the beginning of this month: 7 night Eastern Carribbean on the Fantasy. We loved it!!!!!!! I was so excited when I found a Disney ship we could drive to and no time off of work for my DH. Anyone here been on a 2 night trip before? What is the dress code? Just cruise casual or is there a formal night? I assume this will be a Halloween sailing so costumes for kids?? Sorry for all the questions!
Hi! I just got off this sailing on Sunday. Both nights are listed "cruise casual" on the Navigator but I saw many people dress up in Pirates on the 1st night and halloween costumes on 2nd night for pictures and trick-or-treating.

The Halloween sailing isn't just for kids. Adults dress up and go trick-or-treating around the boat as well (Deck 3, 4, 5).

Thanks for posting!!! Do you have the navigators from your cruise? How crowded was the pool?

I just tried to upload the two pages of Navigator and it won't let me. Says file too large. grrr, I'm sorry!

The kiddie pool was most crowded before the mandatory drill. Goofy pool and Quiet Cove weren't crowded. I think because there's so much activities going on all the time, there was no time for the pool for many people.

We have a private mixology booked on the sea day, but did you see any tasting classes offered?
