Disney Wonder November 16th-November 20th, 2008 - Anyone Else On Board??

Documents in hand! Oh I can't wait, I was way excited before and now I just can't contain myself. I am constantly on this board. I thought I had kicked the habit but here I am addicted again. Reading and rereading the same stuff. It's almost our turn!!!!! Woot Woot!!

Hi all... greetings from SINGAPORE!

15 days to WDW and 19 days to Disney Wonder...

This is my 2nd time on board... I miss the cruise so so sooo much...
I will be traveling with my mom!

I got my document yesterday too... waiting for my WDW package.

We are also going on this cruise! I cant wait!! I think I get more excited with each passing day!
Just a couple questions-- what do you think the weather will be-- warm enough for t-shirts and shorts. It is so cold here, I am having trouble imagining how warm it will be.
Also, How formal is formal night. I have been on other cruises and it is pretty formal. Should my husband wear a suit? What about me-- a cocktail dress?

If the weather is typical for this time of year, we should have day temps in the 70's to low 80's. But remember the winds can make it feel abit cooler and you never know when a cold front can come through. Last year we did the same cruise the first week of December and the weather was perfect every day. However, 2 weeks earlier, they had some really bad storms with lots of wind and rain. So I guess it is always good to be prepared for any kind of weather at this time of the year.
As far as the formal night, it is not very formal. Wearing something you would wear to church would be fine. Some men will wear suits, but you will see that more at Palo's.
Where are you coming from? We are in Ohio and the weather has been cold. However, this week has warmed up - tomorrow they are predicting a high of 70.
Can't believe how close we are getting. Will have to think about packing pretty soon.

Hey there folks-
One more group to add to the mix! It didn't dawn on me to check for others that will be on the cruise until today. I am SOOO smrt!!
It will be myself, wife and our son, who will be turning five when we are back at WDW on the 23rd. That's right...add another 5 year old to the mix!
We are all very excited to finally be under way. We leave Thursday, though it seems we have been planning this trip forever. I look forward to seeing if we can scout out any fellow DIS-ers on board or in the parks.

Welcome aboard! Hope that everyone is getting packed and ready to go. We leave for Floriday in FOUR days...I don't know how I am going to make it through work...I already have vacation brain and am spending time on Disney and not on actual work. Just to think we will be sitting at Castaway Cay at this time in a week!!

Now everyone with kiddos...question...to my understanding you do not tip the workers in the kids clubs like you do with the wait staff and room stewart...are you bringing anything for them? I have my tips all together for the "regular" tipped positions, but I am now thinking about the kids clubs. I doubt that my little one will spend any time in there (with HOPEFULLY the exception of our brunch on Wednesday at Palo), but our older one more spend a little more time in there (though we might be SO busy that she won't have time). I just don't want to leave them out as I know they are a big part of the cruise.

Also, anyone know what movies will be on board? We are sure hoping that Beverly Hills Chihuahua is playing!
