My DS, DD and DH were sooo happy to see this! so much more to look forward to!

Oh my gosh....now I am really getting excited!! Our first Disney cruise!! Today is a beautiful day in Southern California, hoping for the same next Sunday. Remember to bring something to throw on in case it gets chilly, which can happen on the first day out and the last day coming back.

We can't take out the suitcases until the day before because it really upsets the dogs, but I just get stuff ready ahead of time. Since we have cruised many times, I have a pretty good idea what we are taking. We always take a power strip because usually there are never enough places to plug in electronics.

I still haven't made any shore excursion plans, so we might see what calls our name once on board, or we may just get off the ship and see what is available on the dock from the locals. Some of our best excursions have been the result of doing that. However, I must say that we don't have kids with us, so not sure I would do that with small children.

Awwwwwwww. I know the anxiety that packing causes the babies. Our little guy used to hate it.
I have a quick question about the power strip. I usually just pack an extension cord when we travel. I think it's 8 or 9 feet. Is that an ok idea or do I need one of those power strips with the 3 prong plug?

Seems like there are a number of last minute cruisers, like DH and I, that would like to participate in the FE exchange, but it has closed. Therefore, I am officially starting Fish Extender v2.0.

I like the idea that they are going to put you in a suite, but a warning... that means that all of us are going to be crashing your room.

Oh, big party in my cabin if we get the suite! Now it's Monday and less than a week to go and still no cabin assignment! I seriously am not a very patient person and this is driving me crazy...

Wow, great list! We loved watching movies on our Wonder cruise this past February. The movie theatre/area is so cute. We will definitely be watching a few of these.

How many cabins are we looking at for FE 2.0?

Welcome to FE 2.0. I'm tallying the cabins right now. Looks like less than 10.

The Fish Extenders are provided by the participants. It's too late to order any from etsy (unless there's a seller on this cruise, who can make and bring them???). You'll have to make your own.

Quick Ideas (if you don't sew):

1) over-the-door magazine organizer: Embroider, iron-on or draw with fabric paint your design.

2) shoe organizer: rip out the seam between the left & right shoe to make a bigger pocket. Decorate same as above.

3) pleated tyvek envelopes: cut a few inches off the non-flap side and tuck it in the pocket. The flap side has a peel-n-stick strip for sealing. Use that to attach to the bottom of the envelope above (repeat as many times as needed). The last envelope assembled will be the top if the FE. Roll the flap end backward, so you can make a channel for a rope or dowel. Let everyone decorate their pocket with sharpies/stickers. That's what we're doing!

I would be going nuts! Sorry to hear this is taking so long. I would probably be annoying DCL calling every day. However, a party in a suite sounds like fun. Let's hope for a suite!!
