Looking at the disney wonder for a feb. 2017 cruise, 4 nights bahamas. We previously sailed the dream back in 2011, so it's been awhile since we've been on dcl. But the new upgrades to the wonder look exciting! A few questions?

1) How is the weather in the bahamas that time of year?

2) Looking at the deluxe family balcony rooms? I like that there are 2 low beds, because my 2 kids are young? Any feedback?

3) Do they still offer times where parents can take kids to the kids club and stay with them?

Thanks!

2) Some rooms have a sofa bed and bunk bed (besides the queen bed). Some rooms have a sofa bed and a murphy bed.
3) Currently there are Open House hours that a parent can accompany their child into the club.

I've done 2 Feb cruises. First one was on the Dream - I did a snorkel excursion in Nassau and the water was chilly at first but not bad at all. Got a nice little burn too. I didn't really swim at CC, but it was about the same.

Second was on the Fantasy (so Caribbean) while the Eastern US was in the grips of the Polar Vortex. Did a day-long boat/snorkel excursion in St Maarten and the water was ok temperature-wise, but VERY currenty so we did not do all the snorkel stops (drove around more on the boat which was cool). But generally warm - I got sunburned where my spray sunscreen missed. Castaway was WINDY. We almost did not make it (my sister said that if Commodore Tom was not our captain we likely would have missed docking), but we did. I did not go in the water at all and was bundled. I think it got warmer in the afternoon but I was tired by then. I know at least one ship (I think the Wonder but possible the Dream instead or as well) did NOT make it to CC because of the currents.

So it can be great or iffy. And there seems to be more of a chance that you don't make it to CC based on currents. And those are due to weather patterns like anything else.
