Disney Wonder Eastbound Panama Canal - October 2015

We are too! Super excited, I didn't think I'd get the hubs to agree to 14 nights :) I sold him when I told him the 5 night Bajas were ~3300 but the 14 night EBPC was only ~6700! Plus, it will be over Halloween, I'm hoping they really live it up for Halloween on the High Seas. DH and the kids LOVE Nightmare Before Christmas and Jack Skellington, so that was a huge selling point.

I've got 3 kids, they will be 7, 4.5 and 2.5 at the time of sailing. Any other kids going to be on the cruise?

We booked yesterday second time through the canal. It is a Wonderful cruise! First time going East. We are going out early to SD for 2 nights to see the zoo.

YAH! I booked yesterday also. Going with my big sister and will be my second time through the canal.

I'll be back to chat later...has anyone messaged Irish Cowboy with this link so he can add it to the meets thread?

Anyone know why Costco wouldn't have this cruise on their site but all the other ones? I can still transfer it to them as the TA, right?

I've also booked the 5 day Baja cruise that precedes this one. So, could be 19 days of sailing for us! :cool1:

The Wonder is my favorite ship...happened when they expanded Cove Cafe and added Outlook. I've cruised her to Alaska and Hawaii and am happy to be able to be back aboard her before she gets all tarted up on her 2016 dry dock. I imagine she'll be 're-imagined' like the Magic then. I know she'll be ready for refurbishment, but I'm glad to be able to enjoy a Classic one more time!

I received a booking confirmation from my TA, so now I am officially in! Wahoo! So happy to finally start the planning fun!

On this trip with me will be my DH, DS (age 4 at cruise time), and our mystery baby (due in October) who may be lucky enough to celebrate birthday number one on the cruise!

We are booked! :cool1: But now I have a year to figure out how to write up a case study on why my kids should be allowed to miss school for 2 weeks! It will have to be approved before we can go, so I will definitely be buying trip insurance! We are excited and cannot wait to go! It will me me, DD 16 and DD 13 at time of sailing.

Well, there is certainly a lot of history involved with the canal. And there is the multi-cultural aspect of all the crew members. I remember reading about one student who did a report on 5 different crew members from 5 different countries.

It looks like I'll be booking this cruise next week on the Fantasy. My kids picked this over a 10 day stay at the Beach Club next year. Right now I'm thinking 14 days with my kids in the Edge will be like dying and going to heaven::yes::. Yes it's been one of those days.:scared1: I've locked myself in my office tonight. :goodvibes

Should we do a Facebook group? Anyone interested in one?

I'm interested! We had a great one for our Mediterranean/Greece cruise last year. They planned all kinds of extra group events like a toga party and tea party for the guys - it was a lot of fun :)

We also had a FE group list.

I just wish we were coming back to Port Canveral - extra costs flying home *sigh* oh well, still super excited!!!!

Just me and my husband on this trip, it will be an Anniversay cruise and we've already named it Ed & Lisa's Panniversary Excellent Advenure ....Whoa!:cool1:

Count us in. I booked Tuesday! I've been stalking the meet thread for someone to start a thread! We'll be bringing along our two children. Ages 5 and 11 at sailing. I have been wanting to do this cruise for years. Since our daughter will be in 6th grade, I figure it is now or never. She's getting too old to take out of school for long stretches of time.

We are totally interested in the FE & a Facebook page as well.

We have a back to back cruise to the southern Caribbean in October, so my energy will be directed toward that planning first. And I will keep tabs on this! Yeah!

This will be our first cruise since the one we had last year was cancelled in January for unexpected maintenance. We are so excited. It will be the DW, myself and DS (13). The DW and I will be celebrating our 17th anniversary and the DS 14th Bday. Does anyone know if they will be doing anything special for halloween? Anyways just waiting to hear back from the TA to book.

I'm really hoping they will do the Halloween on the High Seas stuff, they are doing all the stuff they did on the dream last year on all the ships this year, so here's to hoping!
