Disney Wonder Dry Dock Watch - 11/10 Wonder departs on first cruise out of Galveston

After looking at the new table layout, I think the the removal of several of the wait stations out on the floor indicate that function has been moved to the front. Where the buffet USED to be. Unless they made space somewhere else (doubtful) or they're going to use the stage (more doubtful), I really wonder if the only lunch (or breakfast) they'll now serve will be plated.

This whole new layout with the serving stations will take a liitle paractice for the wait staff. So used to them being right by tables and interspersed throughout the room. I hope it does not make too much more work with tables so far from the stations. Glad they can get any kinks out before next April.

So. After all the work done, I have one burning question that really bothers me.

Did they fix the sewer smell on deck 4 at muster station H?

Lobby: Is it me or the little ramp in the middle of the stairs look weird? The left part where the other stairs used to be makes it look a bit empty... I wonder if they are going to make a stage out of it? Or a place to put decorations/christmas tree?

That's the idea, removing the other staircase opens up more space on the platform in front of Triton's when they have performances in the Atrium Lobby, that will give them more space and they won't need to come down and use the carpeted area for the performers, so more guests can stand in that area to watch the shows.

Has anyone run across more pictures or info on the new concierge lounge?

I sure hope they're working on the gingerbread house for our Nov 10 Merrytime Cruise. We missed Merrytime last year, but got to watch them assemble the gingerbread house while we were onboard. I would like to have the finished product this year!

Yep - 60-odd days for me....I want to be surprised, I want to be surprised, I want to be surprised....do you think if I keep repeating it that it will sink in?
I had to watch! My cruise is not until April. :) It is only a short teaser, not the whole thing if you want a little peek and an idea of what is in store.

Happy cruising!

Thanks everyone for all the great pics and videos. Has anyone seen anything showing the new/moved Edge. Wondering if they did the same as the Magic or something different.

I've seen some photos (can't remember where) it looks pretty much exactly the same as the magic, but with different chairs.

My husband loves DCL for the beauty of the ship and the service....not for the "Disney" touches. He won't like this being at dinner at all....I will have to play dumb so that he does not schedule Palo to avoid.:)
