Hi! I'm excited to join this disboards group! We went on the 7-night Western Caribbean on the Fantasy in March leaving out of Port Canaveral, so this will be our 2nd cruise (both Disney) and our first time on the Wonder! Can anyone share their experiences leaving out of Galveston and the weather in December in the Bahamas? Also, I tend to get seasick (but I was fine on the Fantasy) and wondering if anyone can share some insight if you've sailed the Wonder before, since it's a smaller ship than the Fantasy and if the waters are choppy from Galveston to Castaway Cay? I have two kids, who will be 6 and 4 at the time of sailing. Thanks! Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Sailed on the Wonder out of Galveston in January 2014. The Wonder is smaller and easier to find your way around, than the bigger ships. My husband likes them better. We sailed on the Dream, and he found it too big. The water can be a little cold in December at Castaway Cay, but the weather is still nice. I've never sailed from Galveston to Castaway Cay, only to Caribbean; but, you just never know for sure how the water will be.

We just booked this cruise...it's going to be our 5th Family Disney Cruise! Kids are so excited!!!! It's our first time on the Wonder. All our other cruises have been on the Magic. this time we are bringing my Mom too! Yeah! Super excited! Can hardly wait!
We are considering chartering a 10 passenger van from Houston to Galveston. We will have 5 extra seats...anyone interested in sharing a van? Round trip is only 350, we could split it! If interested, contact me . Lisa
