For us the reason to choose Pirate night is that we are no fans of the regular menu they serve that day in the main dining room. Palo's menu will be the same all cruise long. We like Palo's menu, so we choose Pirate night. Also, like you we are second seating at dinner and once we are done we are so full and tired that we are not really interested in the Pirate activities. I picked a 6pm Palo dinner, which means we are finished at around 8am, ample time to rest, enjoy the fireworks and snack around the pirate buffet. Best of both worlds for us.

Thanks, that sounds like a good idea we may do the same. Palo was so awesome for brunch I am hoping we will enjoy the dinner as well. Rene forgot his dress clothes last time and Palo was so wonderful with supplying him with clothes to wear

Almost time for Gold to book! Only 9 days! It's open around midnight eastern, right? I am flying out of Baltimore at 7a that day to head to Central Florida for a girls weekend with my sisters at Port Orleans Riverside So getting up at midnight may not be convenient for me, but it has to be done! I hate checking in "late" lol

I had more time today and went to check out this excursion and it is not listed on the options for that day. I guess the reason being is that this excursion is listed as 7 - 7.5 hours and we are not there long enough (10.15 - 4.45). You might want to look for something else as I am pretty sure it did not sell out already.

I already booked my excursions and we have found out that some things that are normally offered in ports of call are not available because of the time the ship will be in port. Let me know if there is anything you want me to look up for you!
I also posted a screenshot of one of the ports' excursions (can't remember which one) a page or so back.

Let me know if you have any questions about if excursions are on the list or not. I am happy to help.
As for the FE, you are perfectly in time. Just post your first names, kid's ages and gender if it is hard to determine by the name and your stateroom number and I will put you on the list right away.

Okay since Las Caletas isn't available in Puerto Vallarta ( ), we will probably do Paradise Beach. Pretty big bummer for us but it means we just have to go back!

Visit the Automobile Museum and Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park.
Got a groupon for the museum, $8 for the two of us! Pretty awesome deal DBF loves cars (he should, he's a mechanic! lol)

Cabo San Lucas
Harbor Cruise & Scenic Stop (CL06)
Love that they have a glass blowing stop

Puerto Vallarta
Stay on Ship

Cartagena
Taxi to Chocolate Museum 2 hour chocolate making workshop, browse around + lunch at local restaurant, then taxi back to pier.
So, this would be just us going into port and making chocolate

Cozumel
Caves, Caverns and Paradise Lagoon (CZ79)
So very excited for this excursion!

Port Canaveral
WDW 9/9-13 at POR! Making sure to catch MNSSHP

So 2 excursions with DCL and one on our own ^_^ Because we're staying at WDW after the cruise, we chose to only have one excursion on Mexico's west coast

So envious! Would love to stay a little longer after the cruise, but we only have one night before we have to fly home. But then, maybe I should not whine too much as we will have 2 weeks at WDW before the cruise.

We arrive around 12:30pm on the 25th. We are planning on staying at Holiday Inn Express Downtown, which has a shuttle to/from the airport as well as the cruise terminal. They also have free transportation to the zoo but it most likely would be more efficient to get an uber after check in

That does sound nice I emailed Dora about a private tour of the area along with time for that chocolate workshop, but we got excited about looking around on our own time after using google street view lol

Haha YEAH! You do have time before Though, you won't be able to make the halloween party I'll be sure to take lots of pictures! ^_^
We are doing WDW after to kind of make up for not being able to go in March. As soon as Rich (DBF) found out about the halloween party and that it would be going on around when we were there, he kind of put his foot down "We are going!". Lol I just couldn't argue, he put up such a good reason to go It's sweet ^_^
