I hope you enjoyed your cruise on the Fantasy as much as we enjoyed ours in 2013. Were you on the one that missed CC because of some mechanical fault? I hope not!

I hope you enjoyed your cruise on the Fantasy as much as we enjoyed ours in 2013. Were you on the one that missed CC because of some mechanical fault? I hope not!

This was our third time on the Fantasy and it was just as marvelous as the others. Unfortunately we were on the one that missed CC. It was definitely disappointing but we still had a fabulous day. Our tablemates had been following the weather on CC and it was going to be low 70s and rain from 10am-2pm. It all worked out. There was quite a bit of grumbling from other passengers, I pointed out to several people that in the cruise contract they signed DCL can change the itinerary at any time. They didn't like me pointing that out either... People are going to grumble. Some people think the captain lied about it being mechanical issues. We got into Port Canaveral late even with skipping CC. There was something wrong. I hope they got it fixed for the next cruise.

14 nights are going to be awesome. Can't wait!

Unfortunately we were on the one that missed CC. It was definitely disappointing but we still had a fabulous day. Our tablemates had been following the weather on CC and it was going to be low 70s and rain from 10am-2pm. It all worked out.

Ah, what a shame to miss CC, but better save than sorry and the weather did not look all that good either. And I know they try their hardest, when they miss something. We sailed through a few hurricanes with DCL and had to miss CC, but they offered a lot of on board activities instead.
And happy to hear that you enjoyed your cruise even though the ship was having difficulties.

YES!!! It finally starts to feel so real. Things are coming together bit by bit (even if making ADRs for my 5 resort stay pre cruise was a nightmare). We booked our flights to Las Vegas (we will drive to DL and San Diego from there) on Thursday, when Southwest opened up and now I am waiting for some nice summer deals for rentals as we need three of them.
AND, in 4 weeks time we will get ready to cross the pond and spend Easter week at WDW. Can't wait - finally we get to go back!

Soooooo excited! Just booked this cruise. We always wanted to do a Panama Canal crossing and the dates were never right. But now they ARE!!!!!!!

Before we took our first cruise we were sure that this would be a one time thing, but like everything else at Disney, we fell in love with cruising and this will be cruise no 16 since 2009.

Looking forward to get to know many of our fellow cruisers!

Anyone in for a FE exchange?

FE Exchanges are very popular, so the number of participants can get quite large, especially as the cruise date nears.

So not to scare someone off by a giant group, the group will be broken up into smaller groups (of about 15 “participant groups” – works better than staterooms as often a family has more than one stateroom).

Be aware that the groups will be divided BY DECKS to minimize the time you will need to deliver the gifts.

To give everyone time to prepare, the deadline to join the FE Exchange will be JULY 15, 2016. I will then post links to all the individual groups.
