Disney Wonder 10/26/14 - Western Caribbean

Hi! My boyfriend and I are going to be on this cruise. It's our first one and we really want to learn more and take part in fish extenders. I am so glad someone directed me here. I was searching and searching or others on the Wonder for October 26-31. I am so excited.

So, somebody, anybody, tell me what I can do to get started with fish extenders.

My family and I will be cruising aboard the Disney Wonder on October 26th Although I am am far from new to Disney Travel I am however new to Disney Cruising This will be my first Disney cruise I was wondering if you would be so kind to help me find my cruising ways lol. I think I see everyone over on the FB page but if not that is where the chatter is very active and the FE groups are being formed. If you are not interested in joining the FB group just say so and we will certainly chatter here and answer any of your questions. Also my DIL will set up a FE group for anyone who does not want to join in on the FB group for any reason.

I am new to the boards and sounds like I may be late to get engaged but we are excited to cruise and meet everyone. Traveling with my husband and daughter who will be almost 3 at sail time. How do we get invited to the Facebook group? And is it too late for FE?

Hi I see you have also made your way to the FB page. You don't have to be invited you can just request to join. Once on the page you can notify Crystal to be put on the FE lists. They are open and won't be closed until probably sometime in September.

Hi and welcome. I'm glad to see you have requested to join the FB page. That's where everyone seems to be chatting. We have a lot of excited people, first time cruisers and more experienced cruisers. Congratulations and welcome, we have been concerned that there would be some people who do not do facebook, so we are always trying to stop in here to try to check in. now that we (sue and I) know that there is someone over here I am sure we will be stopping in more frequently here.

Hi! We booked this cruise a few days ago. I'm on the FB page, but I'm also over here on the DIS every day or so, so I'll pop in to chat with anyone over here who wants to get to know each other.

A girls trip sounds fun! This will be my family's 6th Disney cruise. Well, except for the baby. My husband and I have a 10yo daughter, a 7yo son, and a son who is 3 months old right now. The kids think it's funny that the baby won't get a Castaway Club lanyard when we cruise, but they will.

I'm from Orlando, my Mom is coming in from New Hampshire. We're going to do the 3 1/2 hour drive down to Miami, and maybe go to the zoo after the cruise!

To the organizer of the FE, are their any rules/limitations for the group? I know some groups have ruled out edible gifts and other items due to allergies.

I am organizing the FE along with my DIL. The previous organizer started it on the FB only and since everyone was ending up there we left it that way. We have no rules. The FE is set up in groups of 11 stateroom so that you give to and receive from 10 rooms. If you want a bigger group we add you to another group. Once a group hits the 11 rooms it is closed and not added to even if someone drops out, we have a lot of people who are personalizing their gifts. If you want to join just PM me I need room number names of those in room gender and ages of children favorite colors and favorite characters for everyone and ifany allergies. I will then PM you the list back when it is filled. Or since it is on Google drive perhaps I can get it to you that way.

DH and I want to go on an excursion in Cozumel but haven't booked anything yet. He's a history buff me not so much lol so we are trying to find a happy medium..... anyone else not booked anything yet???
