Me (26) single-mom to
Catherine (DD , 3yo in April) WDW 1st timer who cannot wait to kiss Pooh and Mickey on the nose.

Friday February 13
Well, its the day we go home. I am in NO rush to get home so we sleep until Catherine wakes up, near 8:00am. I called Katie S. and we met at the pool for some swimming. The girls wanted to all say goodbye. Really, this was a great vacation. Having Katie, Mike and the girls to play with made it so much better. We said out goodbyes to them and headed upstairs to get dressed and ready to go. I called Luggage Assist at 10am and got a 10:30 pickup. we headed out and pulled the car to the Checkin Lot. Then I shopped some. Got a friend from home a hat, thanks for watching the cats, Beth! then Headed to checkout. yeah, I did spend a bit too much. but we are on vacation darnit!

We drove over to Luggage assist and loaded the bags "HI TYLER". Then we hit the road. BYE DISNEY! The drive home was UNDER 9 1/2 hrs. woo hoo!

Overall, if I had the funds I'd go back to Disney and the POP in a second. Vacation was magical. Doing it with a toddler is different, but I needed as much rests as she did. If you have ANY questions, i am more then happy to answer. This board gave me such great advice and I'll pay it back however I can! It is so weird being home. I have Disney in my blood still. I expect everyone I pass to smile and say HI.. We aren't at Disney anymore toto. LOL

If you read all these, I hope you enjoyed.:Pinkbounc

Hi! I was just getting my Disney fix on my lunch break and here your trip reports were. :D I'm so glad you had a good trip and Catherine had fun! (Sorry it was so Krissa-filled, though-- LOL!! :rotfl: )

I enjoyed your trip reports. You have the sweetest, cutiest traveling companion. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

I see you have a POP trip soon.. have fun!

Thanks for the great report.....traveling with a toddler gives you a unique view of WDW, don't you think? :)

At least Krissa didn't follow you home!

Thanks for the reports...I may soon have the energy to post our trip reports (we went Feb. 4 - 8), but I'm still in denial that its over!

Oh well...

Great trip report ~ Thanx for sharing.

Thanks Catherine's Mom!

I'll be traveling with a toddler too. Thanks for some insight. I'm happy you got to do so much. And see the parades and fireworks. Good job! :bounce:

What a great trip report!!! Thanks for sharing your story with us on the DIS. It certainly gave me a different view of visiting the parks. POP was great, wasn't it? I stayed there last month and had a blast. BTW, I'm glad someone enjoys the WDW Tour channel and Krissa. LOL!!! It's amazing your DD would be obsessed with that channel and nothing else! I think there was an anti-WDW Tour channel (aka: bring back the Zip a Dee Doo Dah Tip of the Day) thread here a while back. :) Thanks again for sharing your trip report!
