So for all of you disney parents with little ones. Did you bring your car seat? We are trying to figure out if we really need a car seat. We don't see us leaving the area once we get there. We figured if we took a shuttle, they won't have seat belts anyways. So it would just be like a mini tour bus correct?

Just checking on thoughts and ideas. Also for those that took shuttles, what shuttle companies did you use? And cost?

Or would you just pack the car seat and do the uber?

How old is your toddler? When our daughter was young, we did the Disneyland Express bus. We had a travel car seat (5 point harness, but not as heavy as normal car seat) for awhile that we would use on the plane (she felt more secure in the car seat) and would allow us to take Uber. Now we use the Mifold booster seat, which is great!

She is two. We are looking at the disneyland express bus. I noticed that there were Uber Family cars in other cities which had car seats in them, but apparently they have not made it to the west coast.

Thanks again!

We used the express bus so we didn’t need to bring car seats. It was okay. I dunno. We waited forever for the bus.

A Shuttle will be a van and will absolutely have seatbelts and the need for a car seat.

If you take Disneyland express, that’s a coach bus like Greyhound (or Grayline since that’s who used to run it) and the seatbelt situation is different. If you won’t take the seat that’s your option.

I bring my car seat on the plane. Best thing ever! Then we use it in the car when we arrive. We get cheap walmart seats though because they're lighter to carry on the plane than our metal interior seats.

We used Lyft from SNA and checked a car seat. Then it sat in our room til we took Lyft back to the airport. It was WAY faster than a shuttle and only about $50, for all 5 of us.

We were planning on only using DME and resort busing during our trip, but at the last minute my wife's cousin (who lives in the area) was able to join us for a couple days. He drove his car, so we bought a Bubblebum inflatable seat before we left and brought it in our carry-on luggage. That way we could use it in the cousin's car or with Uber/Lyft. Now that Minnie Vans are expanding their reach, we might not need it going forward, although we will probably still bring it for our trip in June.
