We had not seen Bob, Virginia, and Karyn since they left Epcot about 5:00 the day before so DH, DD, and I headed off to early entry at Epcot. We went to Test Track first (this was DD's and my first time to ride it- I was a little chicken last year). We LOVED it. It is so fun to go that fast. Courtney insisted on fast passes to ride it again. We were starving so we went to Fountainview Espresso for breakfast. DD wanted black forest cake for breakfast and DH and I thought a $4 piece of cake for breakfast? What the heck? It's vacation. DH got a danish and I got a chocolate croissant (the best thing I have ever had!!!) We were sitting at the bar. Courtney picked the chocolate curls off the top and said she was done. We insisted that since we had bought it for her and it was a while until lunch, that she eat a bite of the cake. She put some in her mouth and kept it there and kept it there and kept it there. Next thing we know she is throwing up all over herself and the bar. (If you were there that day and she made you lose your appetite, I'm sorry.) She was not sick. She just does that kind of thing sometimes if she does not like what she is eating. It was so embarassing. DH took her to the bathroom to clean her up and I went shopping for a new outfit for her so that we did not have to go back to the hotel.
After the breakfast fiasco, we went on Ellen's Energy Adventure (DD liked it this year- she was afraid last year). I love Ellen- she is so funny! We went to JIYI and HISTA (DD was a little apprehensive on this). We then rode Living with the Land. On our way out, a CM stopped me and started asking me survey questions and then asked if I would watch a commercial for her and answer some questions for $40 Disney Dollars. In a heartbeat! Robert and Courtney got to go upstairs with me but could not come in to watch the commercial. With my $40 in hand and some free Cokes, we were on our way to Test Track again. Courtney wanted to ride it a 3rd time (and so did we) so we got some more FPs. We were hungry for lunch by this time and I suggested San Angel Cantina. Robert said he was hot and wanted to eat in some a/c so instead we went to San Angel Inn (which I had been dying to go back to but we just couldn't seem to fit it in). It was about 2:30 by this time so we were able to be seated with no wait even without a PS. DH and I both got the chicken nachos. They messed up DH's order when he told them to cut sour cream and jalapenos, they also cut the chicken. I loved mine. DH said he would have liked his better if they had something besides cheese on them. He did not want to mess with sending them back. We will definitely go back here again. It had been 10 years since we ate there last time. We went back to Test Track and rode Maelstrom again. We were going to run through some of the countries we missed (like Canada and France) and DD fell asleep in the stroller. I had forgotten to get her picture in Germany, so we put a German hat on her while she was asleep and took her picture. I took her passport to the countries we had missed and explained to the CMs that my daughter was asleep. We went back to YC.
We met up with the in-laws after 24 hours and headed to MK. We repeated some favorites and then went to our PS at LTT. We had a PS and had to wait about 20 minutes. Bob complained about the price and the quality of the food for the money. He was tired of spending $50 on every meal and could have passed for one of the seven dwarfs (I won't say which one). We went to Goofy's Barnstormer. We were just going to do our favorites since this was our last day in the parks. I went into a shop while DH and Courtney were in line. I came out and couldn't find FIL, MIL, and SIL. DH called that they had yelled to him while they were in line that they were leaving to go back to the hotel. They were leaving for the airport early in the morning and I couldn't believe they did not hug their grandchild goodbye and did not say goodbye to me at all. But it did not bother me that much. DD had been wanting to ride the Speedway so I waited while DH took her on that. While they were in line for the Speedway, I decided to go to the restroom. I happened to run into my in-laws who had decided to grab a couple of more souvenirs on their way out. I tried to pretend like I did not see them. (Mean, I know.) But they called my name. I said goodbye to them and then they went and said goodbye to Courtney while they were in line. After Speedway, we ran to Pooh for the last time and then DH wanted a dole whip and I wanted a cookie from the Mainstreet Bakery and Courtney wanted a brownie from Pinocchio's Villagehaus so we were running like crazy to get our snacks before the park closed for e-night. We had gotten e-night tickets. Pinocchio's Villagehaus was already closed and the line at Main Street Bakery was so long that I knew I could not get a cookie and us ride POC before they shut down. We rode POC for our last time and went to see if the bakery was still open and it was. So we all ended up getting cookies and milk and heading to HM for our last time. We then went to Tomorrowland. DD and I rode Buzz and TTA over and over while DH rode Space Mountain. Then DH took DD for Buzz and TTA while I went to Alien Encounter again. We had not planned on staying until the end of E-night but we did. DD was exhausted. Luckily I was too tired from our long day to get too depressed pulling out of MK.
Tomorrow- Boma's and Downtown Disney.
