Disney Wish - MERRYTIME CRUISE - What do I need to know

I've done DCL before but not MERRYTIME.

What do I need to know to be prepared? Is there anything special/different other than the decorations? Are there special traditions/happenings? etc..

Same as you! Following for info. Doin a 3 night on the Wish in Dec .

There tend to be slight changes year over year so you won’t know for sure until sailings start, but in 2019 we had:

• Gingerbread cookie decoration
• Various arts/crafts including a Christmas ornament craft
• Tree lighting ceremony
• Visit with Santa
• StoryTime with Mrs. Clause
• Characters in Christmas outfits
• “winter wonderland” dance party

I’m gonna be real with you though. The Christmas activities were the least favorite part of the cruise for us, and I LOVE Christmas. They were massively overcrowded—most were in the ship’s atrium and it simple does not fit 3000+ people at a time. We started avoiding them as the week went on. I very much recommend choosing one or two things and skipping the rest.
