We leave for disney in 4 days woot!! I have been to the world a bunch so I'm not worried about missing out on anything, I know to drink a lot of water and take frequent breaks.

I just had a question, I'll be about 18 weeks pregnant and I want to know know if other pregnant mom's went on potc and tsm. Neither of these rides have warnings but both seem iffy to me.

Obviously I'll do what I feel comfortable with and talk to my doctor tomorrow just wanted to see if others did those rides. Any other tips are appreciated too!!

I was about 20 weeks pregnant when I went to Disney last year. I only went to MK so can only speak about those rides. I did end up going on all the rides with out height requirements and all were fine for me. I will say that there is a little jolt after the drop in pirates and got a little nervous but everything was just fine and would do it again.

My sister was 5 months pregnant when we went last Nov, and she went on a lot of rides including TSM and Pirates. She stayed off of things like Space Mt, Splash, BTMR, RnRC, Tower of Terror, Everest, 7DMT, Dinosaur. But she really went on more than we thought she could and all was well. The only thing she hated was her ankles swelling at the end of each day from all of the walking. But we had a great trip!

POTC should be fine... TSM may be a little iffy. I would also map out where all the restrooms are... Found that I was always looking for one when pregnant! lol!

I went while 15 weeks pregnant and did POTC and TSM. Both were fine. I avoided all the "roller coasters" and the Tomorrowland Speedway. Drink water, wear good shoes and have fun!

I've gone on both tsmm and potc at various stages of pregnancy (I'm a local). You'll be fine. The ride on the brick road to my midwife's office is 100 times bumpier than potc or tsmm, so I'm not worried ;)

Thanks everyone!! I'm so excited for a more relaxing trip. I'm always tour guide barbie running from place to place. Lol

I went at 24 weeks. Potc seemed a bit bumpier in the drop than I remembered but it wasn't bad. Same with toy story and the spinning seeming crazier. However I think most of it was in my mind. Lo arrived just fine after riding both rides numerous times :)

Just got back today and am 17 weeks pregnant. I did avoid both POTC and TSMM - not because I truly think they are dangerous, but because I am a worrier, and I know I would be concerned. Just not worth the anxiety to me. I did ride Buzz, and those cars spin around much faster than I remembered! I wasn't worried about the baby, but it was nauseating. My 3-year old DD loved it, and she and DH rode it 3 times, but once was enough for me!

I have gone at 18 and 20 weeks. Did not do pirates as it isn't a favotite. I did do toy story. I asked in line and they said no warning for pregnancy. I skipped all the restricted and even iffy ones.

I know this is probably silly as we are around radio frequency all the time. But I didn't wear my magic band as i didn't want it resting on my belly all week. I just kept it in backpack with phone.

I think POTC is totally fine. The drop isn't bad at all and really no different that some of the speeds you might encounter while driving.

This is a good point. You know your body best, OP, and if you think you'd worry about a ride, just don't do it. You can always plan a trip when your little one is bigger :) This is my fourth pregnancy, so I know by now that things like Pirates and even spinning rides don't bother me. On the other hand, I learned that even "barely" pregnant, the safari at AK was too bumpy (it hurt my sit bones, which begin spreading the minute I become pregnant. Yay hormones!)

I went when I was 18 or 19 weeks pregnant with my daughter - 9 years ago. :) I do remember doing POTC and I was fine. (TSM wasn't opened yet.) I think I did every thing but the coasters and tea cups!

Everyone and every pregnancy is different.
