I was wondering if anyone has ever taken a taxi/bus To the Disney Warehouse store? How much is it from GC?

I took a public bus there a couple of years ago, but I don't remember the cost. It wasn't very much -certainly under $5 and I think it was under $3. The bus goes up Harbor. There is an In-N-Out burger at the same stop as the outlet- so is you like their burgers you can do both in one trip

My brother and I got a bus, its in Fullerton, you can get one from anywhere along Harbour Blvd pretty much. Its great, they had a Target, KFC, In-n-Out burger, a coffee place, a skate shop etc etc etc.

I think it only cost $1.50...

we went there a month ago (by car) and it was just full of junky stuff..its not an exclusive disney warehouse, its a liquidator company that sells lots of other stuff too. Maybe it depends when you go as to what they have but in my opinion it was a wasted trip. Just don't count on getting all your disney souvies there!

Right, it's not Disney operated and it's pretty much hit-or-miss as to whether there's anything worth buying.

As mentioned above you can take the OCTA #43 bus northbound on Harbor, and get off at Orangethorpe right next to the In-N-Out Burger. From there you need to cross Orangethorpe and walk to the east end of the Orangefair Mall. I'm pretty sure you can't see the place from the bus stop.

If you go in February you will likely find some Christmas and New Year's items that didn't sell that well in the parks. You would not find anything current. Still it is fun to poke around and bargain hunt if you have the time. I am a big person and I have always found something for me there.

From GCH to the Disney Warehouse, it is about $15 for a taxi each way. Like most people have said, it is a hit or miss, but there are other stores in that area, like Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, that might make the trip more worth it.

Hope this helps,
Kriss=)

Is there a liquor store somewhere near that area? I've never tried Two Buck Chuck while in CA and really want to this time around.

Two Buck Chuck is only available at Trader Joe's as far as I know. The closest TJ's would be in Orange on Tustin Ave, at the east end of the #50 OCTA bus line.

1. Take a bus, not a taxi;
2. Before you go, stop off at any of the hotels and pick up the visitor's guide/magazine (this month, the cover is yellow and there it's the size of 8.5" x 11" paper). Inside, there is a 15% off coupon good for the Character Warehouse (there are sometimes 10% off coupons/hard cardboard fliers too).
3. Merchandise is a definite hit and miss. Sometimes, we find nice stuff; othertimes, blah merchandise (which is why you want to take a bus, not a taxi).

Darn. Guess I won't get it this time either. Thanks though!

^this. I've been twice this year and have decided that's probably enough for me. I bought some stuff the first time (in May) and still saw some of the exact same stuff there in November, but it was priced higher the second time!
