Disney Wait Times app by UT--anyone get charged for "free" app?

So, I got an email invoice from iTunes today that the "free" app I downloaded yesterday (by pushing the button that said "FREE") charged my account $3.99! Anyone else?! I've sent an email to iTunes, but wondered WTH happened?

No but I downloaded it the previous day, 8/18 - it was the Free App of the day on that day. 8/19's free app was a different Disney wait times app.

But I do agree that if it showed "free" in the box, they should stick to that. It sounds like it changed back when it hit 8/19 but no one updated the box on the screen to revert back to the amount.

I would send them an e-mail and ask for your money back on the basis that it still said free in the box (assuming it did).

Was it the one with the frog picture as the icon?

I just downloaded it to my desktop itunes and it still says free nor does it appear to have taken anything out of my balance (I have an itunes balance from a gift card).

I bought that "free" UT app yesterday, as well. I usually don't get a receipt email until a few days after my purchase. I will be sure to keep an eye out. I have the iPod touch and was pleased to see that the maps and menus work without wifi. That will be nice while we are in the parks.

Thanks for the heads up. I will keep an eye out for the invoice. I have a iTunes credit and it has not been deducted from that.

I downloaded it to my iPod Touch last night and it said it was still available for free for 36 hours. I haven't recv'd my invoice today, but I don't think I was charged.

I just downloaded it free and I know they didn't charge me because my iTunes card doesn't have that much left on it. I think I have less than $1 on it. I hope you get it resolved quickly.

Boy is my face red! Apparently, DH downloaded it for me on Monday after I showed it to him on my sister's phone on Sunday.

I that he did that for me, but wish he'd waited! Oh, well, guess we should talk to each other more, huh?
