Pricelined a hotel for the last night in Orlando. Checking out on a Thursday and going to Seaworld on Friday. It's a 3 star close to DTD. Anyone heard of the Disney Vista or know anything about it???? Just a little nervous.

Do you mean the Orlando Vista ? It is just outside DTD. Used to be the Doubletree Club. If so, you should be fine.

Sorry, yes it's the Orlando Vista. Have you ever stayed at this one? Are the rooms dated?

I have never been to DTD. Do you know if the hotel is close to Rainforest Cafe. I made ADR's there. We are out of meals so it's out of pocket.

Any reccomendations of meals in DTD that would be better than Rainforest?

Thanks,Allie

Rainforest is at the end of DTD closest to Hotel Plaza Blvd. This is where the nonDisney hotels are. From DTD if you drive Hotel Plaza Blvd out to the exit (about 1 mile) and turn left.......you will see your hotel about a block on the left. Their website http://www.orlandovistahotel.com/index.php Great location if off site, literally one block off property gateway.

It was owned by Doubletree Hotels and I believe it changed hands very recently and they have done some rehabs in it, like their club room. Many folks probably don't even realize it's not a Doubletree, and therefore the new hotel has no name recognition. They have kidsuites as well as regular rooms. I wouldn't hesitate to stay, especially for short term.

DTD - We are Rainforest fans and go every trip. If you want something quick and cheap, Earl of Sandwich. Counter service but great sandwiches. Of course Wolfgang Puck is always excellent food. We ate at Capt Jacks last year on Dining Plan - double lobster tails. Excellent, but don't know that I would pay out of pocket for it. I would stick with Rainforest if it were us, just a fun place. Now did you make reservations direct with them or did you make an ADR with Disney. If you used Disney your reservations are probably at the RFC at Animal Kingdom. I don't think they can do it for you at DTD. Just might want to check before you get there.
