Disney Visa Warning!

Credit card companies have lots of ways to "get ahead" I had a card once(HAD) that I had been paying monthly but finally paid in full by the due date only to get a bill the following month showing a balance still due. I called to question this and was told that even though I paid the balance in full before the due date I still owed the finance charge for the days from the billing date till the payment was received regardless of the due date.

I agree it was an error on the consumer, but if you don't think Disney allows its trademark name to be used so , in this case banks, can reel in unsuspecting and devoted Disney fans who can get a pretty Disney credit card , your crazy! It's all about the almighty dollar and Disney gets a big chunk of the receipts wheather or not Bankone makes a penny.Don't be fooled!

I wish Disney would have went with some other CC company besides Bank One/ First USA. I would love to get Disney points and such, but will not do business with Bank One/First USA anymore!

DH and I had a First USA visa card until an unathoruized {SP?} transaction showed up on it. Called them to tell them about it. They sent me a form to fill out, which I did. They never did reverse the charges. All I got from them was a letter stating that the charge didn't show up again, and that was it. We got rid of that card really quick!!!

I still feel that if a CC company sends a CC offer to your home address that you never asked for, that you should be able to sue them for harrassment!! But that could just be me who feels that way. No one should have to go to their mailbox and have these credit card offers thrown into their face.

If you try calling and asking nicely and they still won't help, I'd go to this site and write a letter: http://www.planetfeedback.com/consumer/

Most companies respond to these, because the letters are public. I admit that I don't have the Disney Visa card, or any dealings with their parent company, but I've received excellent, swift results from Washington Mutual and Capital One using this site.

HTH and good luck!

I recently sent a payment to Fleet to pay my full balance. Today, I got a bill. I guess because I didn't send it in the minute I received it, I accrued finance charges. I just sent in the full amount again. I better not get anything next month. I've asked them to close the account.
