Disney Visa special offer came out - and I had an amazing CM!

I received an email this morning for DV cardholders about discounts on rooms from 7/19-9/15 - smack dab in the middle of our dates! Woo! I had an absolutely AMAZING CM who helped me get this applied to my vacation she had to work with a supervisor and pull all sorts of tricks to get it applied. I hope some of you are able to snag this awesome offer as well! Wanted to let you guys know about this offer and also give a shout out to Amy who helped us save almost $400!!

Dates were 8/14-9/29. Book through 9/15. Called the number in the email - but it sounded like it went right to the Disney Travel Company - 866-285-1578. Good luck!!

I just booked our pkg and save another $150 dollars from the room I had with Orbitz!
The CM I chatted with sent me the link to book it. Super easy!

Bummer about the August 14th start date. Still saved some money but now my reservation is partly through Orbitz (8/12 & 8/13) and partly Disney (8/14 through 8/16). Hope they'll let me stay in the same room! Guess I won't mind moving, especially if it's an upgrade! Fingers crossed!

I received the 25% discount ! ! ! !
I'm soooo excited. The CM was terrific !

I did this last year exept I waited until it was available to the public and then I called Costco and they matched the price plus I still recieved the Costco extras. It added up to quite a savings.

Just in case anyone is in my predicament with a zero balance, the answer is no. First she tried to tell me I couldn't apply the offer to a current reservation and when I indicated that people were able to, she said she'll look. So don't let them stonewall you with that reason! But in the end because my balance was zero and couldn't pay with my Disney visa at all, she couldn't do anything for me. I also asked if they could charge a small amount on my card and return the difference to my gift card so I could get the discount. The answer again was no.

This totally makes me miss the way WDW works with their reservations and offers. I've been able to apply a DV offer on a hotel only reservation once without actually using the card ever at WDW! Sigh. Why did I pay my balance off so early. This is a bit aggravating lol.
