Disney Visa Reward Dollars question

I recently opened a Disney Visa Premier account, but will not receive the first billing statement until 12/9/13.

Disney reward dollars do not show on the account yet, but I should have at least $50 earned by the first statement date.



My question is, once I ask to receive the Reward card and transfer the balance to it, when will the subsequent rewards become available? Do you have to wait for each statement each month to be able to transfer earned balances?

The rewards are posted once a month. But you could call, using the number on the back of your card and they can/will give you an up to date accounting.

Ok, I should be able to collect what I earn up until the 12/9 statement on 12/9.

What about what I earn up until the January statement? Will I wait until the January statement date to transfer those rewards, or will I be able to transfer as they are earned?

The reason I am asking, is that we are going to WDW on January 18th. I'm just wondering if I'd be able to transfer any rewards earn between the January statement date and the date of our trip. I'd love to be able to maximize the use of the earned money while we are there.

After your first billing cycle rewards post, assuming you have at least $20 in rewards, order a rewards card with $20. Once you have the card, it is very easy to transfer your rewards to the card, after you January rewards post you can transfer the remaining reward to the card and enjoy spending the "free" money.

Rewards are posted once a month. You will have to wait until your cycle closes on 1/9 to get the rewards for 12/10-1/9. Any rewards that you earn after 1/9 will not be available until 2/9.
