We'll have about 150 points at the time of our trip. I'm assuming these can be used on board the ship, but are you able to use any of them for excursions?

Your excursions are charged to your room and the rewards/points are used towards your room charges. (if that makes sense)

Perfect sense - just like using the card to pay your hotel bill at the end of your trip at the resorts, which has included charges made in the parks, restaurants, etc. Right?

How do you use them? Do you go to guest services or do it in advance? Do you transfer all your points or just let them know how many you want to transfer? Do you transfer them after you built up a balance on your shipboard charge or can you do it at the end? Last question. If you don't use all the points you transfer can you place them back on your card or do you lose them? Thanks

You contact Bank One to transfer the points. You can do it over the internet (this is easiest) or call the 800 number. They will send you another card that "holds" the points. This card expires quickly (in like two years), unlike your points, which are typically five years. In other words, don't transfer more than you know you will use. Then you would just give guest services your "points" card to use the dollars that are on there.

Did that answer your questions?

Oh, no, you can't put points back on your card, so again, don't transfer more than you absolutely know you will use.
