With the Disney Visa, can you get a photo everyday?
We will be in the parks for 5 days, and since they have 2 characters there, are we allowed to go twice to get a free photo with each character?

You can go once per day, per card (if you have two credit cards or a credit and debit card you can get two vouchers per day). I'm a local and could, in theory, get a voucher per card every day of the year!

Thanks Cassie!
I think we went a couple times in Epcot, but wasn't sure if DCA was different. We only have one Visa, but do have a checking account as well, so thinking of heading into the office to change my card to a Disney labeled one.

Planning for our first DL trip in the fall. Where is the Disney Visa Meet located? Which characters are typical here?

Here is the info from the Rewards website. I have never been to this at Disneyland, just WDW
Just present your Disney Visa® Card to enter this exclusive event, offered daily 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure® Park (behind the "House of Cards" and next to Monsters Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!)

It is reported that the meet switches between Minnie and Stitch every 30 mins

Yes, that's the location. It's really easy to find. Just head to the Monster's ride and look for the Visa Character Meet sign.

The M&G takes just a few minutes because it's rarely crowded, but it does take some time to go select your photo and get it printed at the photo services site.

Besides Surf's Up breakfast, this is the only way to meet Stitch.

Are the photos added to your photopass card?

At WDW, we enjoyed the Meet and Greet but then it took way too long to get the 5x7 photo. They did put it in a nice folder but I would be fine just paying .99 for the photo when I get home.

They do put it on your photopass and it can be redeemed anytime that same day only. It can get crowded, so I try to go early, however, if you go too soon, sometimes they don't show up yet.

For the checking debit card, if you have a chase account just ask to switch and they'll mail you out a new one, no changes required to the account or anything. My dad does a lot of business at the local chase and they were able to set me up while I was on the phone with him one time, and it arrived the NEXT day!!! I was shocked!

Also depends on the CM, some CMs will give you another voucher if you come for a different character :cool1:

If you've done this in the past, you can no longer redeem at the main st photo place in DL. The CM at the meet n greet didn't say anything about the vouchers changing since we were there in Sept. We headed to dl, they were kind enough to print a pic, but pointed out it was only good at the one photo place in DCA.

When we went to see minnie the next day, they were refusing a group of 9, saying the card only lets 6 in. So definitely more rigid, but we still enjoy this perk for our party of 4!

That doesn't make sense to me. What difference does it make how many is in your group. I totally get them putting a time limit (ie 10 mins per group) but to say that your group is too big is odd.

I hear you can go in with two different chase cards so... one that is yours and one that is your husbands. That might be a way around going in with more than six. It at least helps up to 12.

The two cards must be for different accounts, just FYI.

Good to know... I was thinking what the other OP was & using my other card for the same account. I might try doing one pic a day to get pics with both characters.

And if you have a Chase checking account you can get the same benefit with the Disney Debit card.

Do they look that carefully? When we were at Epcot a couple years ago, they just glanced to confirm it was a Disney card. Would they really compare the numbers on the card if you showed up with 2?

The times that we have gone at DCA, they wrote down part of the card number on their counting sheets. We also tried the DW/DH card thing, but they said it was limited to one per account number per day.

Things have changed like other posters have noted:

- voucher only good at DCA
- voucher can only be used for the Chase photos

You used to be able to use the voucher for any photo with a character in it, but not anymore.
